Great gift
Got this to be used as a rain drum for my friend as a gift. Has a plug on the bottom you can just take off and leave it outside or in the shower for a pretty wind chime sound while it let’s the water drain out easily. Can be used as a regular drum too, as it has the drum sticks enclosed. Great value. Color was a pretty blue that reminded me of the sky or ocean. Very relaxing sounds. Fun gift for that free spirit in your circle.

Bigger than I thought it would be
I was pleasantly surprised by this. It wasn’t too expensive and it was bigger than I expected (I didn’t read the description to be honest, so take that into account). I wasn’t expecting much so I was happy. The sound is beautiful and it you can make beautiful music without any special skills.

Great Drum for kids and adults.
This little steel drum was such a cute gift for my daughter for Christmas! I think once she is older and doesn’t want to put the sticks in her mouth she will love it. And inas a parent will love not hearing obnoxious banging from a plastic toy drum.I read reviews saying you could play it with your hands, so I thought my toddler would be able to use it a little more independently, but the sound is really so much better when using the sticks, it honestly even another small toy.This is a great Drum for adults, it’s asthetically pleasing, sounds so nice and the little book it comes with is very fun.

We bought for granddaughter 1 year birthday.She received many battery operated toys with lights and music. This one was played with and kept her interest. Itâs not a âdisposable â toy!!

I had no previous knowledge of this type on instrument. My kids and I decided to buy it. We all love it. Ages 9, 12, and me (late 30s). So it’s not for only toddlers. It’s a fun instrument. We found websites that taught us how to play songs like Mary Had a Little Lamb since we didn’t know most of the songs in the songbook it came with. But that’s okay because it’s fun to just experiment with. If you hit the tongue in the middle you get a clear tone and there is no way for it to be “out of tune” as some reviewers said. This would make a great gift for anyone who loves music. The quality is beautiful – it is really nice to look at – and the sound is relaxing.

I place this on the kitchen table while my baby waits for her food to be ready. I leave it a bit out of her reach and give her a stick. She has been getting better and better at using the stick the way it is meant to be used and hitting the drum. She likes the sound, I like the sound, and it is a great way to bring in some positive reinforcement when she hits it right, and good practice for her dexterity. I find that with a bit of practice this tongue drum makes beautiful sounds. The stuff that comes with the drum are good. As with what appears to be all of these drums, the stickers don’t stick very well to keep the numbers in place. I would recommend this.

For what is is its definitely overpriced. Numbers are cheap little stickers.The sound is nice. Its quite small. Sound is nice. Definitely not worth the price I paid.
