The Hybrid Hunter features a fat-bodied, flat-sided shape with a unique “L-Shaped” 90-degree bill. “Smooth” color not as pictured but good to have in the tackle box
These Strike Kings do hunt better the the 6th Sense version, although the build quality is not quite as good. I own four, 2 shallow and 2 regular, and had to tune all four to run straight. That’s not good.So far I’ve only fished them in a city pond where the Bass get pounded harder than an anvil. Those fish have the worst case of lockjaw I’ve ever seen, but I’m sure these Hybrid Hunter’s will get results for me elsewhere.One note: The “Smooth” color is not as pictured. The one I got had the banded blue-gray markings come much darker than the picture shows, which I really didn’t like.

Paint FLAKING off
Used only once for very little time in a very clean private lake, now I notice the paint flaking off the lure (above the top fin that doesn’t hit hardly anything), I have many many lures from many companies cheap to expensive, never had one do this 1st time out, expert fishermen live on a big lake so I know a little something about fishing, this shouldn’t be happening especially for the cost, so at this time I just can’t recommend to my other fishing colleagues because I don’t know how long the paint will last, I have 3 other colors of this same lure in my cart think I’m going to hold off for now.If Strike King is listening it would be great if I got another lure of this one to try again, maybe I just received a bad one.

Worked pretty good
This lure was doing pretty good until I whipped it into the bridge. I didn’t see any cracks or damage but it never swam right again. I can give a full review because I used it for like 30 minutes, but I did cat a nice largemouth on it.
