Exceeded expectations. Very functional and still looks great after 7 months of using it every weekday
I have used this almost every weekday since we purchased more than 7 months ago to carry our dog on public transportation during rush hour. The carrier is very well made. It has piping around both ends that serves as a sort of skeleton or scaffolding so that carrier holds its shape and does not cave in when empty. Our dog can be placed into the carrier through the zippered opening at one end (the entire wall at one end zips open), or through the zippered opening at the top (an approximately 4 inch x 14+/- inch mesh window that is permanently sewn to one end and has a 2-way zipper around the remaining perimeter of that mesh window, allowing the the full length and width of the top to open. When unzipped, you can push that top opening wider because the carrier is made of 600-denier polyester, which is a canvas-like material). The handles are well padded, sturdy, and long enough to fit over my shoulder so that I rarely use the adjustable, removable, padded shoulder strap. After using this almost daily for for nearly 8 months; putting it down on train platforms, city sidewalks, train and bus floors, and tossing it in the back of the car if I drive to the train, it has stood up well and still looks great, although it has the following signs of wear: (i) Each end has a slip pocket with velcro tabs to close the pocket. The velcro tab on one pocket is very frayed, and the velcro tab on the other pocket has come off, but I open and close those pockets multiple times a day (bc that is where I store a roll of bags for waste, the leash, my wallet, phone, keys, and train ticket). (ii) A nylon (or possibly rubber?) piece is stitched over the entire outside bottom (i.e., the floor) of the carrier, for additional protection, I guess. That covering and the portion of the piping that runs along the bottom are torn in places; but I recently covered the bottom with black gorilla tape to prevent additional tears, and the tape is not noticeable unless the bag is turned upside down. I do wish that the carrier were an inch or two taller and/or longer so that my dog would be more comfortable when the mesh openings are zippered shut. When zippered shut, he can sit upright but has to tuck his head down. I sometimes partially unzip the top so that he can stick his head out and sit in his normal sitting position. He can lie down inside, although he has to curl up a bit. As noted above, the carrier stands up nicely when empty but is soft enough to give a little when our dog curls up to lie down inside. I also wish the carrier had optional backpack style straps so that I could distribute the weight over both shoulders. Our dog has an injury that prevents him from walking fast so I lug him about 1 mile each way to the train, and that gets heavy after a while, especially if I’m also carrying a briefcase. This probably should not be used as a kennel, because the features that make it a great carrier are features that are not good for a kennel; namely, it is narrow and the three mesh windows are located only at the top and at the top half of each end wall. Also, if you have to carry your pet a long distance while walking, then you might want a backpack style carrier instead, to distribute the weight over both shoulders. But if you want something that does not attract unwanted attention and are willing to carry the weight on one shoulder, this is the better choice. The only negative is the steep price, but I justified the expense bc I use it nearly every day. In short, this is a great carrier. I use it every weekday to transport our dog on public transportation at rush hour. This carrier does not look like a pet carrier and does not attract attention. Each of the mesh windows has a privacy flap, the carrier is sturdy but not bulky, and it is narrow enough and the handles are well padded so that it can be carried over your shoulder ( it weighs 2.9lbs). To give perspective, here are our dog’s dimensions: Weight: 15+/- lbs. Length from base of tail to shoulders: 15 inches. Height to top of shoulders: 12 inches. Height to top of ears (he has upright ears) when sitting upright: 16 inches.

It’s a very good bad, but MUCH bigger than I anticipated
I was really hoping this would a bag I could get away with toting my little cat around in, incognito. While it is an excellent carrier, well made, with thoughtful touches- it is first and fore most a carrier. People may not look at it and think it’s a carrier at first, but I do think they’ll look at it and think, “Why is that person lugging around such a big bag?” Thus, loosing the incognito effect. So if you’re looking for a decent, cross shoulder carrier I highly recommend. If you’re looking for something incognito to tote your small pet around in, this is not your bag.

Perfect!
My 11 pound poodle-mix loves this bag! I canât leave it on the ground if Iâm not going anywhere because she will jump inside and wait for me to take her somewhere! Because it is narrower than other dog bags, I think she feels like itâs softly hugging her, yet she can jump out if I ask her to come to me. From the picture you can see that she can stick her head out of the hole in the frontâ-she rests her head there and either looks around at everything or she falls asleep. If I have to, I can zip up the mesh that covers the hole so her head doesnât pop out. Plenty of ventilation for her to breathe easily. There is also mesh on top of the bag for more ventilation. In the high heat in the middle of Texas summers, I donât use it unless Iâm inside with air conditioning because itâs too hot. But, if you think about it, no dog should be outside for very long in the extreme heat of summer whether in a bag or not in a bag! People rarely notice that she is in the bag. She is very quiet in the bag. When I fly, I use a different bag because this one is too tall and not airline approved, but I pack it in my suitcase because I use it once I am at my destination. It doesnât take up much room in the suitcase because I can pack clothes inside it.It can fall over if you put it down, so do NOT place it on a table or counter top. Put it on the ground and lean it against something.

Incognito!
Definetly incognito!! Although, I shouldve read the dimensions as i think its a little smaller but thats my fault not the product. It comes with lots of pockets, and a little leash to keep your buddy in there from running away. There is also lots of airflow, however not sure how it would be in the summer as i did get the black one but we shall see and i will update

Lifesaver when traveling with a small pet
I purchased this bag in 2018 for my small (13 pound) dog. The bag is ideal for tricky situations when you can’t leave a pet in your vehicle, and need to discreetly bring it somewhere dogs may not be welcomed. I use it frequently when traveling by car. Sometimes it’s really hot or really cold, and it wouldn’t be safe to have my dog exposed to extreme temperatures. I pop her into this bag and can dash into a rest stop to grab a coffee and use the restroom without creating a fuss. It is on the large size so some may find it heavy when the dog is inside, but the convenience and necessity of it outweighs this. My dog doesn’t mind being inside. If I could change something, I’d make it open on both ends, so my dog could just walk in/walk out instead of having to back in. But I’d buy this again in a heartbeat. It also has proved to be very durable despite lots of use.

Collapses on pet
I bought this bag to transport my 7.5lb chihuahua mix. I returned it instantly because the bag doesn’t have any structure and instantly collapses making it uncomfortable for a pet inside. This carrier would only be useful if it was carried the entire time which keeps the top and sides from caving in. I wouldn’t recommend it for a pet at all.

Great product too large for airline
Great product and very sturdy was too large for my little poodle. This also seemed too tall to be able to fit under a seat on a plane unless you were to lay it down. Sent it back but liked the product and wouldâve kept if it were a little smaller

I will be using this for a flight from Canada to Europe with AirCanada. The size allowed is 8x16x17 and this is the only option I found that fits these requirements. Itâs very sturdy and I am sure will last for a long time. Zippers are so smooth. Their website doesnât say itâs iata approved only due to the height not fitting under the seat but it goes in sideways which will work. Airlines require the let to be able to stand up and my 10 lbs Pomeranian can do that and she doesnât mind that itâs snug sideways, she actually seems to prefer that. She can still turn around inside it. It stays upright yet flexible enough to allow her to move freely inside it. The only comment I have is that the mesh feels different than other carriers and a bit less breathable but itâs still mesh and should be fine. Itâs great that it will also come in handy for day to day life not only for the flight. As all small dog owners know, itâs not easy to leave your dog outside when running into a store and with this one you can sneak her in without anyone noticing if you are in for just a couple of minutes. I highly recommend this purse

Bag is comfortable to use and puppy does not mind being in there.Comfortable shoulder strap. Delivery took forever so order well in advance. Also product is quite expensive and thought the design and material would be more appealing. Also has âpet carrierâ written on the label so- but apart from that- handy bag
