In 1911, Arthur Edward Waite and Pamela Colman Smith — artist, occultist, and fellow order member — created a mesmerizing Tarot deck. This deck is considered the “classic” one as of current times. In most cases, the images easily indicate the meaning of the cards, and almost all other modern decks are based on this original version.
