Working great and for a great price.
My aunt has tried multiple types of hearing aids and these are the simplest and easiest for her to use. She is bed bound so doesnât need anything too fancy and these are actually lower cost and most effective for her. Win win. We will see how the battery life is. Just have to figure out how to get her strong enough to put these on herself as her dexterity is a little off for having had a stroke. And we found the adjustment of sound on this one as better than the others. Amplification is stronger. There is an included ear phones and ear buds. There is a carry case as well. I tried to use these with a splitter cable for headphones and a direct line from the receiver to her iPad and it works with both inputs being received at the same time so this is a win if youâre thinking of doing the same. Overall very happy with this set over the 100 200 and 300 dollar sets we tried out.

Serves a purpose for a while
Bought this for my 89 year old mother who cannot deal with using in-the-ear hearing aids and loses them. I tried the product myself because Mom’s feedback is minimal. They do amplify and I could hear things I did not hear at all with my own ears, like conversations of nearby people. I suppose that could be a pro or con depending on your need. The sound quality is a bit tinny but we are talking about a $60 product, not $5000 hearing aids. I figure you can’t lose more than $60 and even if you don’t like the product, it still works. Be careful to start out with the volume all the way down and then adjust it upward to fit your need. It will really whistle when it is too high. It is safer to turn the unit on before putting on the headphones or earbuds, just in case someone turned the volume real high. I only tried the headphone so I cannot provide feedback on the earbuds. FOLLOW-UP In less than a year of minimal usage, the product started making a loud buzzing noise through the headphones that overshadows what you are trying to hear, rendering the unit useless. I have reached out to the manufacturer to see if it can be corrected.

It works great, my husband loves the hearing device. He can join in conversations now. The case is fairly sturdy and headphone cord is long. The only problem he has is, if the device is to close to the headphones it tends to squeal.

picks up a lot of ambient noise
I bought this to hear the voices on our TV better. I have moderate across the board hearing loss but especially in the mid range. When I use this in a room with nothing happening but the TV, I hear a lot of ambient noise which comes across as a general hiss.When I place the microphone next to the sound bar (which I use as the center channel because it carries most of the voice content of the audio signal) in an attempt to avoid getting ambient room noise, I get as much static as voice by the time I increase the gain to amplify the voices.In short, this did not do what I wanted it to do, but it might be helpful for someone who just wants to hear more of what is going on around them.

Clean audio & great for cosplayers with helmets.
This device is great for amplification & clarity. Other reviews comain about hiss/ambient noise. This is to be expected of a naked mic. It would be great if they added in SOME compression, but that can also dull the clarity & then you’re left with less than stellar results, especially since everyone is at a different level of hearing loss. My case is more tinnitus, but I really bought this to be able to hear people while wearing a cosplay helmet. Normal conversation is fine for the most part, but the ringing in my ears sometimes gets loud enough to make it difficult. These are a great help during those times as well.

Meine Mutter kann jetzt wieder an Gesprächen am Tisch teilnehmen. Das Ding ist wirklich gut für seinen Preis. Allerdings zum Tragen am Körper weniger geeignet, weil es beim Scheuern an der Kleidung die Geräusche zu stark wiedergibt. In diesem Fall muà es fest um den Körper geschnallt werden, vielleicht fällt mir noch was ein. Auf jeden Fall in der beigefügten Hülle lassen.

I bought these after looking round the options for improved hearing or listening devices, with the admittedly guilty intention of listening to conversations, just out of curiosity, (of course). But mainly for my Nan. These looked like one of the better products compared to some cheaper ones, that were closer to kids toys There’s also much more expensive items in the style of headphones,mainly for watching TV wirelessly . They are stated for that intention though as well as a sound amplifier for all types of background noise. Including outdoor sounds like traffic or birds and of course conversations. They also looked more practical in some ways than a hearing aid,in the way that they take AAA batteries, can be used with earphones and also that the volume can be easily adjusted from the side of the device.Making it easy to use for someone elderly and for the price seems to be much more reliable and performing than some of the in-ear devices sold on amazon. I tried this myself beforehand just to check that it worked, i wasnt sure what to expect, as i would say i have normal to good hearing and am use to listening to things generally at quite low volumes. So i thought that this might turn me into Clark Kent or something, it was interesting to say the least. First i could hear myself breathing,then walking, then it sounded like i was having my very own party just with the cruel absence of actual people. Just lots of birds (no pun intended). It went pretty loud and made the tv sound like a cinema, i dont know if it only picks up certain frequency’s, therefore making it better for people with bad hearing rather than better, but it does pick up voices pretty good. Getting to the point, i did finally allow my nan to try this, and straight away she noticed a big difference watching tv and was able to turn the subtitles off straight away, which are something she always has turned on. She also said that the volume went very loud on the device,were with me it just amplified everything and gave me a cinema experience. which is why i think this may work better for someone with already bad hearing rather than good.However i will check this and edit my review in next few days it isnt this good, but im pretty sure it is. And it definitely goes loud at 50+ db, but BE CAREFUL IF USING WITH DECENT HEARING OR THE HEADPHONES (not earphones) SUPPLIED. AS AT FULL VOLUME I CREATED INTERFERENCE WITH HIGH FREQUENCY AND NEARLY DEFFENED MYSELF. In a high pitch sqeaking noise,like what you would get from a stage microphone……..but in your ears. Dont be put off by this though, it just seems like the over- headphones supplied aren’t quite up to the task at full volume, and i tried a broken pair causing the same effect, but at full volume which is pretty loud. Other than this though the product is quality for the price and is also very loud and clear..

I bought this for my mother who is very, very hard of hearing. We have a weekly video call which was becoming almost impossible even with her hearing aids. I sent these to her as a gift and she was able to get them working easily. What a difference they have made! I donât have to yell, mum can easily hear the television, conversations and more. I just wish I had bought them sooner!
