EASY TO USE – NO BUCKET
I’m delighted with this purchase. Kit arrived complete. It was easy to assemble (handle, insert batteries, add cleaner fluid bottle), lightweight, no messy mop or bucket to lug around the house. quick to use on the floor and very good for the baseboards. Mop head was generous size. love the disposable but also purchased the reusable for future use. The disposables would add up quickly. I did see a bottle of Lavender scent for sale but was hoping for… pumpkin or apple spice scent for holidays, lemon or orange scent etc. Still, the clean fresh scent is fine. Floors are clean in quick time and dry almost as quick.

Needs a longer handle
Works great, dries fast but the handle is way too short. I’m 5’9, and I have to stoop way down. Doing my small kitchen makes my back ache. Give it to your toddler, lol. Also, the spring pin that holds the two sections of handle together wore quickly, so now the handle twists or comes apart. The pads it comes with have little “fingers” and clean awesome, but they are very pricey.

Itâs amazing for the price
While some may not want to spend $30 for what seems like a simple mop, it is well worth it. I received it today and already mopped my entire house. Itâs not too heavy, it glides across the floor, the best thing for me is it guickly and easily cleaned little spots of southern sweet tea that had been on the floor. If you know sweet then you know that it can sometimes take some elbow grease to get it us especially after it is dried. One spray, and maybe 30 seconds and it was up, no scrubbing necessary.I will be paring this with a shark steam mop to sterilize the floors because we have pets that sometimes have accidents.

Still on the fence about Swiffer wet mopping
I still don’t get why pushing a flat mophead is better than an old style string mophead. Both are wettened, both are pushed back & forth across the floor. The string mop periodically gets immersed in the cleaning solution & wrung out before mopping another area. Is the flat mophead pad supposed to stay in place till the whole area is cleaned? If so, aren’t you just pushing that dirty, soiled mophead across the floor? Do you check how dirty it is every so often & change it? The unit came with 2 mopheads. I just did LVT floor in my kitchen & hallway. I did not inspect the dirt level of the pad till I was done. It was dirty enough when I finished that I certainly would not consider continuing using it. So, since the pads are disposable I would probably go through several if I wanted to clean all my hard flooring. Those pads aren’t cheap. Pushing the Swiffer really wasn’t any easier than pushing a traditional mop. The price for the unit was quite reasonable so I’ll keep it for just a quick, convenient clean up of the kitchen floor. I’m not getting rid of my old mop & bucket. And, yes, the smell of the solution is very nice.

The mop is used just for house hold washing of tile floors. I washed the floors with the Fresh Scent Cleaner and reuseable pads. I used 4 of them so as not to over do the pads. I had purchased the Swiffer PowerMop Multi-Surface Mop Kit and bought an extra 2 x 5 boxes of Mopping Pads. After I had used the pads I put them in the wash on a 20 minute cycle. When I pulled them out, they had completely fallen apart. I now will have to pin them back together and sew down each seam to be able to use them again. Since then I washed two more and they have done exactly the same thing. They were not cheap. Not impressed.

It is such a good mop! The button control at the top of the handle is super easy to use and press to spray out as much cleaning liquid as you want and the cleaning solution pops in super easy and smells great too. It smells a bit like windex but less strong and more lavender. The 360 swivel also makes it super easy for it to turn around corners, objects and furniture on its own! It really gets up in the edges! My only complaint is that the mop pads are a weird velcro fit, it doesn’t stay on the mop all the way but also doesn’t fall off or come off at all when mopping? The mop pads are also not enough, you only get two and you use the first one which leaves you with just one left, and it can get pricey buying the refills. My tip for you is just purchase reusable washable ones. It will save you TONS of money considering that the brand Swiffer itself is kind of expensive. Also just to let you know, I mopped my whole downstairs floor and went over a couple of spots and rooms and about half of the solution is gone. I think the amount you get is not too bad neither good, it is just enough to do the job. Though it can also be pricey to repurchase the refills.. and it also says in the instructions manual to not make your own solution. Interesting. By the way I’m not sure why people in the reviews said the handle was too short.. im about 5ft and it is great for me and everyone else. It is pretty tall. It’s only short if you’re about 8.5ft.. so i’m not sure about that. The scrubbers are also average, not like they displayed as “powerful scrubbers.” They’re pretty mid honestly. The weight is also okay.. overtime I can see how it can be heavy and I’m young. Might be kind of heavy for mopping for long periods of time, especially if you are of older age. ALSO.. the pads DO trap dust, hair and pet fur really well!!! Overall a great mop though!
