A great book
I really enjoyed the book, it’s like getting two books in one. The first half is chicken/egg background and knowledge based information- great take away’s . The second is my passion – cooking, the book has twists on standard recipes and many new ones for myself. I read a lot and I found this book to be well written and a good book to use as a reference . I’ll be cooking from it today

âEggcellentâ in every way!
Love this book! When I go to a dinner party I often take a basket with this book, a dozen of my chickenâs beautiful eggs and some home made goat cheese. The book has great chicken and egg info, beautiful photos and eggcellent recipes! I get rave reviews on the book.

important for the egg eater
I raise organic and free-range chickens and their eggs. five stars for the information and four for the recipes… only because one or two recipes did not go over well in our house. I gave it five stars because organic eggs cook different (somewhat) and the recipes fit the eggs. cannot emphasize enough the importance of eating healthy eggs.

Beautiful book- contains more advanced recipes
I have purchased other ‘egg’ cookbooks for our free-range organic backyard chickens. This book seems to kick it up a notch. There are some more advanced recipes which I think is great. There are some beautiful photos too. I am happy with my purchase and have recommend to my other backyard gals 🙂

Gift so don’t know!!
As it was a gift to foodie friends raising chickens, I cannot review, but purchased it after hearing it discussed on the Faith Middleton show on NPR.
