Worth its weight in gold to me
I just have to rave about this product. After turning vegan, I had to find more complete sources of protein so I wouldn’t worry about neglecting that aspect of my health.Anyway, I had soy protein isolate powder some years ago and gained sooo much weight in a short time (I did lose all of it after I stopped). This soy pasta is made of whole soybeans, which means it is extremely good for you and isn’t one of those fake soy products that only causes health issues. I continued to steadily lose pounds of weight eating this pasta and my scalp was no longer irritated and my hair and scalp were extremely soft- even the longer lengths of my hair turned so much softer from frizzy in just two days (and no I didn’t even wash my hair in that time!). Recently I saw a significantly cheaper soy pasta brand at Costco and purchased it and in a few days already my scalp is irritated again and I have gained 2 pounds in two days – their main ingredient states soy bean flour and not whole soybeans anywhere so I imagine that it must be something more processed. At any rate today I threw that brand in the trash and am waiting for my new shipment to arrive from The Only Bean.Oh and as for taste, this pasta tastes way way better than any wheat pasta I have ever had (I am not gluten free, just trying to get more nutrition in where possible). I cook this in the microwave for about 7-14 minutes depending on the quantity of pasta, covering the pasta with water in one of those microwave saucepan type thingies and the pasta comes out soft and naturally sweet. I am able to enjoy this pasta plain which I can never do with wheat pasta. Just an easy way to enjoy food, get healthier and lose weight. What could be better??Buy buy buy, and maybe that will drive down prices more. At any rate, I am fortunate to be able to afford any food I want but I want high quality real food like this available to everyone.

    Better than expected
My boyfriend and I are currently doing a biblical type of diet where we aren’t allowed to eat about a million and one things.. including pasta. I found this and thought I’d try it. My typical diet is that of a redneck man. So when I saw that it was made purely from soybeans, I was highly skeptical. However.. this stuff is actually fantastic and I will absolutely continue to purchase it even after my diet ends. I made it with (I think it’s 365 Whole Foods Market) pasta sauce. Which you can also purchase on Amazon. This pasta has a really different texture than normal pasta. Make sure you follow the cooking directions, so you don’t make the texture even more weird. Since the texture was weird, I sautéed mushrooms, onions and green pepper and then poured the sauce over those and simmered for a few minutes. Having a variety of textures and flavors in the sauce helped distract from the texture of the pasta.

Tastes ok. Not sure if it’s USDA organic as it’s produced in China
It tastes reasonably good. We’ve tried other brands. It has the typical slightly chewy texture but the flavor is decent. I’m not sure how the USDA certifies foods that are produced in other countries. But I feel it’s sus.

    Much better than expected
I’m a carboholic. If there was a way to incorporate pasta, bread, rice, and potatoes into one meal, I’d die happy. Unfortunately, all those carbs add up and tend to flock to places like my waist and posterior. When I decided I needed to shed a few pounds, I consulted with a trainer who put me on a lower carb diet.I went for a week or so but was miserable without the occasional bowl of pasta. I stumbled upon a similar product at Aldi’s initially and reluctantly bought a single box thinking that, even though it looked like pasta, it would turn out to be a cruel hoax, mushy and foul tasting; I was wrong. I immediately came to Amazon to track down more of the same While it doesn’t have quite the texture of a wheat pasta, it’s fairly close and the flavor does not overwhelm whatever you’re eating with it. I’ve only used red sauce so far and it’s been fine; I’m able to satisfy my pasta cravings and feel as full as I would with wheat pasta. It’s also low in calories and higher in protein than regular pasta. Now they just need to make different shapes and I’ll be a soybean pasta convert for life.

    Low carb in love
This is more angel hair than spaghetti, even cooked it’s very thin. It’s WAY more hardy than you think, considering it breaks so easily when dry, it’s quite sturdy when cooking/cooked. I tasted it several times while cooing and landed at 4 mintues for the perfect time. (it was not a rolling boil) I tried some plain and really the taste was pretty good, I was waiting for a weird back taste, but there wasn’t any. It was my first time eating it today and I served it traditional with some low carb sauce and parmesan. It was heaven! The chew is not quite the same, but I still loved it and as someone who hasn’t eaten pasta in a long time, I would 100% eat this in it’s place. If you are super low carb, you would really have to work to fit this in your day, but if you’re staying under 50 grams you will enjoy this as part of your diet. I’m diabetic and try to stay under 30 a day – this worked great for me. Enjoy!

    Great taste and texture
When you want to cut out overly processed foods, which we do, it’s always a must to try and decide if it’s worth a higher cost or not. We are very pleased. Be GENTLE when cooking. Remember, it’s more delicate than regular pastas. Dont boil it. Since we intermittent fast, this actually lasted in texture and taste for 2 meals. Held up with Italian sauce with small meatballs and with Alfredo sauceWe tried this due to it’s healthy ingredient. A higher cost was worth it.

LIVE LIFE WITH GUSTO AND FLAVOR !
In the search for better health I tried this organic soy bean product. UGH ! I will eat the full carb noodles and suffer a loss of health before I subject myself to this tasteless wonder of better health. The product is versatile. I know I can use it a filler when I run out of dry dog food. Nope. The dog wont even touch this stuff.
