A History of TTGF
The year was 2018. The Tailgate Foodie food blog was created. A cornerstone for creative cooks and backyard BBQer’s that wanted to upgrade their boring, old tailgate recipes.
Fast forward 2 years, the brilliant idea to officially “Bring Gourmet to the Parking Lot” was hatched. We wanted to bring the flavor when others were shying away from it. With flavor packed products from seasonings, rubs, and sauces, TTGF is here to stay!
BUILT DIFFERENT
We were like any backyard BBQer, we had shelves of half full seasonings. That’s when we asked the question, why are they half full?
We started looking at the labels and had an “ah ha” moment. Many of the products we were using had the same ingredients!
That’s when we decided to change the game. Using unique ingredients like mango, pineapple, honey, and juniper powders, we truly have a flavor packed, unique product line!

Gifted my husband
These smell amazing, I could tell it’s great quality. Would have given a 5 star if I saw that the burger one has mushrooms and my husband is allergic. Was very disappointed since the reason I got these was for the burger seasoning. I’ve never seen a meat seasoning with mushrooms so I didn’t even think to look before I bought. Will be giving that one away, but regardless can’t wait to try the other two. They shipped very quickly also.
