Iâve been a huge fan of Bess Matassa for a long time, and to say that The Tarot Almanac did not disappoint is a massive understatement. First of all, the book has considerable power simply as an objet dâart. It deserves a spot on the coffee table or the night stand on aesthetic grounds alone.Inside, the text is throbbing with her distinctive style and juicy poetic voice as she walks the reader through the deck month by month and card by card. Season specific spreads, journal prompts, and magical tips all weave together to simultaneously awaken and endarken you, fully steeping the lucky reader in the majesty and mystery of life. Very well laid out
I love that this is a hardcover and I got it in time to start the year at the beginning of the book. There is a wealth of knowledge and questions that inspire thought. There are spots for notes but I prefer my notebooks for notes and meditation so I can keep this on my shelf for future use. Love it

I have always found tarot really interesting and kind of overwhelming. So, every time I tried to invest time in getting it into my life, I just couldn’t quite get there. Well I’m delighted to say ….here is a sweet book that wants to get me goin. I am a huge fan of “The Artists Way” and journalling in general…I love writing letters to my psyche, my future self, my past self…everyone I know. You know. And let me say, I’m already starting to see and feel a transformation in my understanding because I can put myself into this actual experience and what is happening is real insight. I recommend any creative human to find this book, invest in the exercises, enjoy it. I like the way this author talks to me. It makes me feel like I actually am eating some yummy something right across from her. I like people, and I like the flavors we are made up of!
