The Thermoskin Foot Stabilizer is a soft thermal foot orthosis designed to treat and prevent foot injuries. It alleviates foot pain and helps prevent injuries by maintaining the midfoot structure between the hindfoot and the forefoot. The criss-crossing straps create a vice effect to stabilize foot ligaments. By supporting the midfoot, the Foot Stabilizer maintains the natural articulations of the foot. It also provides compression and support of the midfoot to minimize pain associated with mid-foot injuries. Fits comfortably in shoes. Indications for the Foot Stabilizer include Achilles’ Tendonitis, Mid Foot Conditions, Sever’s Disease, Sprains, Stress Fractures, Subtalar and Talocrural Joint Instability. Trioxon Advantage: Thermoskin’s exclusive Trioxon lining is soft and comfortable against your skin. Trioxon captures your natural body heat for therapy and pain relief. The three dimensional Trioxon lining provides insulation and wicking of moisture via air circulation. This allows the skin to remain well oxygenated and comfortable for extended periods. Clinically Proven: Only Thermoskin is clinically proven to increase blood flow, increase skin temperature, increase muscle temperature, and minimize perspiration. This provides heat therapy to prevent, treat and rehabilitate soft tissue injuries. Sizing Guide: Sized according to U.S. shoe size as follows: Small for Men’s shoe sizes 6 – 7 1/2 and Women’s 7 – 9 1/2. Medium for Men’s shoe sizes 8 – 10 1/2 and Women’s 10 – 11 1/2. Customers say
Customers like the support and value of the brace. They mention it provides excellent discrete support for foot-drop condition. Some are also happy with the pain level and value for money. However, some customers have reported that the sizing is a little off, takes up a lot of room in the shoe, and is uncomfortable. They dislike the ease of putting it on. Opinions are mixed on functionality and build quality.

Perfect
This has really made a difference in my stress fracture recovery. It’s comfortable and and is a great item to use after you get out of the Air Boot. It’s a little bulky for wearing with normal shoes but wearing around the house with no shoe is just what I needed. Now I can feel confident that i will give my foot the time it needs to really heal. I bought a post-op shoe to wear with the stabilizer when I go outside of the house and that works great.

Runs VERY VERY small
Sizing said to get a small for women’s 6.5 to 9 shoe size — I wear 7 to 7.5. Foot portion was way too tight and the ankle portion gapped to the point there was no closing it. If you have very narrow feet and chicken-leg ankles, it might fit. NOTE: it is NOT returnable through the regular returns process. Can only be returned if damaged/defective.

Good support but a little uncomfortable
Overall I like the brace but there are some aspects that make it uncomfortable. I have a wider calf so the calf closure will close but can be a bit tight at first. The stretchy straps are also very scratchy and can be hard to pull off when it’s time to take the brace off. They also scratch the skin where they crisscross over the top of the foot. If you aren’t flexible, it can be hard to put on and take off.

Huge help for added support
I needed some short term support for a slight injury in my foot and this helped a lot. Very easy to get just the right amount of compression with the velcro straps.

A little more thought to design.
Gives great support, but the criss cross strap is sewn straight underneath the foot so that when you cross it up over your foot it gaps on one side underneath making an uncomfortable bulge under your foot. If you pull it very tight it doesn’t do that, but it cuts off circulation if you fix it that tight. I believe if it were sewn as 2 separate straps in a V under the foot that it would alleviate the issue. Might take it off and do that myself.

I have had what feels like a nagging foot injury going on 6 months
I have to say this product really worked well for me. I have had what feels like a nagging foot injury going on 6 months. It started out as a simple instep/ankle strain from stepping off a curb wrong. But it just wouldn’t seem to heal. Not enough pain to stop walking, but jogging became painful. I bought this and was amazed how the extra support seemed to do the trick. Now I feel like the injury is finally getting a chance to heal. Would definitely recommend this to stabilize the ankle joint. It really works well.

Horrible sizing & no return!
The item goes on like a sock with cross bands to secure foot. I bought the right size, according to my shoe size (shoe size 7 1/2 = small) BUT I can’t slip it on because the part that goes around the ankle won’t slide over my foot because it’s WAY t small. I didn’t realize that this item is NO RETURN, NO REFUND!

Small and uncomfortable
I ordered this based on really good reviews that it helped people with their foot stress fractures, as well as based on the sizing chart. I was really disappointed when it was borderline too small for my foot (W 9), cut off circulation in my foot, and was uncomfortable. It also didn’t fit in any of my shoes except for my sneakers which I had to remove all of the shoelaces and re-lace them with the foot/brace already in the shoe. At the end of the first day wearing the brace, my foot hurt more than it did when I left the house. Very disappointing. I’ve ordered another compression sock which seem to work best for me thus far.

The support has been very useful to use as alternative support. I have a fifth metatarsal fracture that is taking time to heal but when I’m not using the boot cast this holds my foot nicely inside a good pair of lace up boots that I can open enough to slip my foot into.Sizes do come up a little small. I got a small and am shoe size 5, so it may be wise to get a size bigger.

Excellent support has been great to relieve pressure on the top of my foot. Well worth investing in for light support.
