IMHO /world’s best sock for Planter facititus, and/or extremely sore “on the bottom” sore feet.
I was given the DX of Planter Facititus sp? in the year 2001, & after going to extreme lengths, to seeka solution, literally thousands of US dollars during a 2 year time frame, as I am Male Height 6’1″ weight180/184 lbs, 1 chiropractor (whom I deeply trusted) and, multiple Reflexology professionals (from USAwell known SPA’S in CA/AZ/NM/ + Los Cabos & Puerto Vallarta (both in MX), A to Z of shoes, age early 50’sI finally lucked out on this AFAIK “Statesville, North Carolina” sock mfg, called “Thoros” with excellentcustomer svc, + a retail shoe salesperson, whom I trusted also, I have used Thoros thick padded socks,now for over 20 years successfully. IMHO, Use them even instead of bedroom slippers. Note: Thoros dohave different types of padded socks, some thicker than others, I recommend to just get the thickest ones. Also, if I may add, I have a walk-in closet full of so called designer shoes, I rarely wear, as I am now overage 70 years old, the only shoes I have also worn also, the past 10+ years, have also been ECCO TRACK IIlow rise waterproof shoes, with a very thick heel, used by many serious hikers. My understanding frommy formers travels to USAF & US Army posts in Germany, I also found lots of THOROS socks for theUSA military, imho, a large customer of Thoros. Bottom line: my feet never hurt me no more. Size tips?I always order the 10-13 range, my shoe size is a 11 1/2 EEE (US) or size 12 (UK). I suggest one may need 1size up, shoe size, due to the very thick texture of the complete sock.

Great socks
They took a bit to get used to as they are thick as advertised. Once you get used to them, though, they are very good value. I havenât got any blisters and my feet feel much better after pounding the hardcourts for hours at a time. Best socks for tennis Iâve ever had without a doubt.

I have used Thorlo socks for years. They are extremely durable and the cushioning provides just the right amount of protection from chafing or blisters. They never bunch up and they seem to fill every nook and cranny in the shoe. In my opinion proper footwear including socks is far more important than the racquets or paddle you play with. I want to be able to move and never think about my feet and these socks help fulfill that desire.

Best casual sock made
Great padding on forefoot and heel. I have 4E width feet and have no trouble feeling comfortable all day. Very well constructed and have returned for more Thorlo products. As a male nurse, 6â2â 270lbs, I prefer the Thorlo 12 hour socks for shift work but I use these for my days off. I need the cushioning comfort they provide and less constrictive feel for casual wear. Many people ask if the high price is worth it. I have replaced all my socks with Thorlo socks. My foot pain has been reduced dramatically and I have made no other changes. I have very high arches, so foot pain has been a life long issue. I have not received any discounts or promotions, I just believe in Thorlo products, because they have provided a solution to a real personal problem.

The best tennis sock
If you’re looking for a thick tennis sock, this is the best choice. I’ve worked in the “industry” and this is what players who have access to all the products at cost, tend to pick if they need blister protection or to fill a shoe up.The one thing you should know if you haven’t had these before is that they are thick. And probably aren’t the best for an all day sock. Not that you’ll have blisters, but they will accumulate sweat and smell by the time you take them off. Some socks out there you can get away with using more than once, if you air them out or whatever. But these are a one wear, one wash for me. For some shoes, or shoe+insole combos, this sock will make your shoe tight. However, tight is good as long as it’s not pinching when playing.These are my favorite socks for playing (been playing over 20 years), and are my 6th pair… or more?

Very comfortable, kept my feet dry. Probably the main feature of this TX model is great cushioning. Helped with my heel and Achilles pain very nicely. Used them with Asics Court FF 2 shoes and was pain free for 1.5 hour on hard court.
