Amazing!
It is a great Himalayan Singing Bowl set. The cushion and bowl fits snuggly in the palm of the hand. The quality is good and not to loud to disturb others in another room. The wooden mallet is light weight, smooth, manageable with good stability It comes with detailed instructions on how to use a Singing bowl.

Let’s meditate
It’s amazing sometimes how I end up hearing about something and buying a related item. Please allow me to write at some length about this. My wonderful sister in law in England emailed me to tell me she’d seen a tribute show for Tina Tuner in London. I thought it’s be interesting to learn something about this famous singer and found the movie, “What’s Love Got to do About It,” in the local library. It was so interesting and I learned that Tina turned to meditation during a difficult time in her life. I looked up meditation and found the chant often used. I then went to Amazon and found this small gong device at a remarkable price. It’s lovely and well made and gives off a great sound when struck with the little mallet included. Now I have to take the time each day to ring the gong and say, “Nam Myoho Renge Kyo,” over and over for a few minutes. Check back later to see if my meditations have helped any aspect of my life.

Cute, but short chime time
This is really cute and it the quality of the bowl, pillow and wood are good. I am giving this 4 stars overall because of the quality and presentation. Unfortunately, this doesn’t serve much of a purpose other than looking cute. I have the typical size probably–6 inches and bought this smaller one for my friend. It doesn’t have a great chime, likely because it is too small for the noise to flow. It’s more like a short ding (hard to describe in writing), but there is no hang time. I feel like if you only want to make a quick 2/3 second chime ok, but usually practitioners like a little more chime time. It’s more decorative than functional in my opinion.

When we received the singing bowl we were a bit hesitant. It was smaller than we were expecting. However, it ended being a huge hit and works wonderfully. It is also the perfect size to have sitting on your office desk for easy access when need to destress.

Small but cute
The bowl was very small and I could not get it to sing no matter how many times I tried. I think it will be beneficial for me to start with a bigger bowl first to learn the proper technique then try a smaller one if I want to travel with it.

Good quality. Produced a nice tone. It takes a minute to get the hang of it. I’ve never had one before so had no clue what to really do. Luckily there’s a little insert with instruction.I would definitely buy another for a cool gift to an interested person.

No sé mucho sobre cuencos, pero este lo compré solo para experimentar un poco con esta actividad, suena lindo, aunque no emite tanta vibración como otros cuencos, evidentemente por su tamaño. Pero me gusto mucho. Llego en buenas condiciones, solo lo veo un poco mas opaco que el color de la foto que muestran en Amazon.
