Great beef flavor. Somewhat costly. Great for camping, hiking, etc. Greasy
We like the flavor of this beef stick. They are soft, chewy, lightweight, have a great beef flavor, and make a wonderful outdoor snack. Unfortunately, the are rather expensive (by price per ounce/pound) and other types of meat can easily be found that are a better value.

Absolutely my new favorite
I did not know there was such a thing as hunters sausage unaware there was even a difference but these taste so much better than their other flavors and the price is phenomenal for the amount you get. I will sometimes get a tummy ache or just get a kind of nauseous feeling when eating pepperoni sticks but not at all with these. Iâm a die hard teriyaki fan when it comes to the Tillamook brand sticks but these hunters sausage just blew them outa the water. How did I not know they made these. I am from Oregon and have been to the Tillamook dairy many a times never once have I seen these. Hope they keep them around and at that price too.

Delicious, but short
Flavor is really good, but these are half the size of a slim jim. They are also shorter than Paleovalley, and half the weight, but they are also much cheaper than Paleovalley. That said, I will continue buying these to munch on, and put away 3/4 of each order of my paleovalley sticks since they individually wrapped, and these aren’t If they were longer I would give 5 stars, but they are just too short. I saw reviews on this stuff with photos showing how long they used to be compared to how they are now. It’s a shame. Skrinkflation is real.

Tillamook Teriyaki Flavored Beef Sticks
Been a fan of these for years. The taste is very enjoyable & almost always they are fresh, and not dried out like shoe leather. My 2 main issues with Tillamook is that the beef sticks are getting shorter & shorter every year…and the price is increasing. These used to be almost as long as the plastic tube container they come in…now they are even with the lable. If you look at their advertising pics- they show that version & not what you ordered. So to me that’s a bit of false advertising. Today’s measurement of the Sticks is at 7.5 inches long. The last thing to note when buying these are sometimes whomever lables the products will incorrectly tag the original flavored Beef Sticks with a Teriyaki label. If this happens, message Amazon with pics of proof of this happening & they will correct it. At least they have for me in the past.

Always excellent, sadly not this time
I always buy the Hunter’s Sausage Meat Sticks, and they are always excellent. Sadly, this delivery I received were all dried out and inedible – the only reason is that the packaging had been compromised and had lost it’s vacuum seal. This will not detract me from buying it again, it’s just a shame that the purchase had to be thrown away – a waste of some great sausage…and money. But, I repeat, I will buy more and Tillamook has not lost me as a customer, due to their normally fantastic product.

No soy! No sugar!
Review of Real Hardwood Smoked Sausages, Original, box of 24 individually wrapped 1.44 oz sausage sticks: We’re so happy to have found these. They’re a great snack, and each stick has 13g protein. The best part for us is that they have no soy; we both have a soy allergy. I looked at the ingredients of a different brand of this type of sausage stick which is often displayed at grocery checkout aisles, and that other brand does have soy, so these Tillamook Originals are best for us. Also, the Original flavor does not have any sugar, which we prefer. If I recall correctly, the Tillamook Teriyaki flavored ones do have some sugar, so we’ll be ordering the Originals when we re-order. Great product, and arrived intact, no problems with the packaging.

I have been buying these Hunter Sticks and really like them. My last order was August 4, 2024 for $14.99, I went to reorder and the PRICE DOUBLED for exact same thing!!!!! I will find a new favorite.
