Simple and easy to use, sturdy, well made!
EDIT: I would still buy, Itâs been over 6 months now (EDIT: about 6+ months in and the nylon chain cover has become detached from one end of the chain. Itâs not a huge deal or very noticeable at all and can be glued back in easily. Highly recommend for people who donât want to #1 overpay for a lock, 2 youâre in a large city or on campus and NEED a warranty if youâre parking in unsafe areas often Kryptonite has warranties but I donât live in a large city and donât park my bike on university campuses or downtown often and have faith in this chain. I would maybe bring extra locks if I did go downtown just in case for front wheel but the 12â chains are an excelllllent size for preventing thieves from snapping the lock as easily for a great price. Also I love the key feature. It works great and has a backup. Unless you come across a lock picking expert or someone with a giant saw youâre pretty safe imo. The locking mechanism is great and so simple to use. It unlocks very easily with just a twist. The lock cover is great for dirt and debris but I usually wear my lock cover easily around my shoulder or waist or sometimes my bicycle itâs not too heavy and a perfect length to lock my frame and rear tire. Itâs also quite thick to deter any thieves, encased in nylon which prevents any scratching, and another deterrent (edit: one side of the nylon has detached but not the end of the world). I would definitely buy this again. Itâs not too big take Carrie and not too small to not deter a criminal. Itâs perfect compared to the insane price of some locks. Some of those lock costs 10-15% of my bicycle.I also recommend buying an apple AirTag hidden, cheaper combo than many kryptonite locks. 80-90% of bicycles are never recovered.

Great for the price
For the price, it is great. It’s thick and heavy, so it should deter thieves from stealing your bike. My only complaint with it so far is that it’s a bit too heavy, but that’s kind of the tradeoff for having good security.

Excellent lock! Until I dropped my bike ð
Lock is incredibly thick took me about 10 min with the grinder to be able to break through the lock. So for toughness I ð¯ recommend it. I leaned my bike over a couple days ago and realized I had dropped my super73 on top of the lock and bent the metal inside the lock itself and the key wouldnât release it. So my only option after that was breaking it off 𥲠definitely would buy again!

My bike is old but I still don’t want it to get stolen so I got this lock–which, for $10, is $10 more than the bike is worth!I like the cover because it hides the nature of the lock (which is I think chain?) and I know thieves need different tools for each type. It feels really heavy duty.The length is perfect to run around a pole, through a wheel, and the frame. The lock is easy to open with the key and I like how the key stays in the lock until it is closed again.

Strong and affordable.
I love this bike lock chain. I love it even more because it is covered in cloth. Although, I see overtime the wear and tear of the cloth; itâs getting easily damaged. I would suggest a sturdier cloth to cover up the chains and maybe even making the chain longer? But right now the price, the strength and the ease of it is just great. I feel pretty secure when I lock my bike up.
