The name “Tomato” was based on their striking colors as females come in a bright red-orange while males have a duller skin that ranges from yellow-orange to brownish-orange similar to the color of a tomato fruit. Tomato frogs can really be a great pet for new keepers or even for people who doesn’t have any experience on handling frogs. They are usually calm and easy going. Before putting into conclusion whether or not this breed might be right for you and your family, you must first make yourself familiar with this frog breed.

Through this book, you’ll learn all the necessary information you need to know about Tomato frogs as well its specific needs when it comes to feeding, breeding, maintenance, licensing, habitat, and many more. We hope that this book will be of great help whether you are a newbie or an expert with handling a Tomato Frog. Enjoy and let the learning begin!

    So many errors in it
This is a terrible “book.” You cannot even call it a book–it is just a black and white print of a Word or PDF document. It has black and white pictures, and is double spaced with large font size. The worst thing is the errors. In the first 8-10 pages, the writer repeatedly writes, “you frog” or “you Tomato frog” instead of “your frog.” It also has wrong information, for example, on p. 7, it says Dyscophus Insularis’ length is 14 inches to 24 inches, which frightens my 9 year old, and he asked whether our frog can grow as large as his chair! These are errors found from p. 1-10, and I am sure there are more errors. I will try to return the book.
