Surprisingly soft and well made
This is one of those Amazon purchases where I donât understand how it could cost so little. Just the fabric to make this would cost more than the cost of this sling. Even though the shoulder strap is not adjustable, I find that more comfortable across my shoulder. I am 5 foot 4, and Because I have a large belly right now, the area in which the dog lies is a little bit resting high on my belly instead of flat against my side. For that reason, obese or large bosomed people might find the strap short or feel it a little bit small, but the construction is excellent and the ability to move it to different parts of your upper body and across the back of your shoulders is manageable because the strap is wide and comfortable. The sling part itself is extremely well-made. The lining is smooth and the little toes and toenails canât get caught on the totally smooth lining fabric because it cannot snag. That was an extremely thoughtful thing to do. I love that Somebody realized that they donât want any little toes and toenails getting damaged or hurt because then the dogs will not want to sit in the carrier, and that they took the time to line this so beautifully so that the outside is soft, discreet cotton, and the inside is slippery and cool and safe. I thought the snaps were a nice touch, there are three plastic snaps that go across the top of the carrier to keep the dog safe inside, but there is enough room for the dog to poke their head out of one of the openings and still not fall out. The reason why these plastic snaps are so thoughtful is they make very little noise, unlike the Velcro that is used for many carriers, which is terrifyingly loud and scary for dogs to hear so close to their heads. The fact that the snaps are plastic may or may not make them more durable, I donât know, but They certainly wonât rust when you wash it. And they donât have any sharp edges. They make the carrier very easy to open and close. You can glance down and see your pet very easily even if theyâre lying down at the bottom. I love that There is a phone pocket! You canât even buy a phone carrier for this price. So in some ways youâre getting a phone carrier with a free dog carrier attached lol. The fabric is so soft, which is very important for me because I have a nerve condition and I cannot stand fabrics that itch or are artificial. This is a soft light gray cotton. It is not stretchy, which actually makes it sturdier and less likely to dig into your back or shoulder and more likely to sit properly. I washed it in cold water today and let it air dry, it dried very quickly and it did not shrink. It is very lightweight which is super important because I am elderly, and cannot carry any weight other than my dog. I love this dog carrier and I never feel like I love what I get from Amazon itâs either tolerable or I accept it or I just give it away. This surprised me and made me want to share. By the way, my dog is a two-year-old 5 1/2 pound Chihuahua. I got the small. I donât know if I had gotten a larger size if the strap wouldâve been longer. Perhaps only the carrying part would have been larger. Depending on your dogâs age and personality, that will determine how comfortable they are lying in the sling, but as soon as you start moving, whether or not youâre cleaning the kitchen , and you donât want to leave them when theyâre feeling sick, or theyâre just a baby, or you just need the comfort of a warm animal against your body, this is definitely the carrier to get. Iâve wasted money on other things, this is a purchase Iâm finally proud of. I hope it works for you too. This is my fourth dog carrier and the only one i am keeping. The others were too cumbersome, or the dog could not lie down at the bottom and sleep, or the angle was wrong, and they were all more expensive! Thank you to the company for thinking of all the details and making this so affordable. The only suggestion I would make for improvement is to not sew that care tag that all fabric items have into the bottom of the lining. Itâs visually discreet because itâs on the inside however, it doesnât feel soft. I wish that it had been sown elsewhere so that it has no contact with my animalâs body. And lastly, this carrier does not have that awful chemical smell that so many things have. It has no smell at all. I think this is gonna last the lifetime of my pet, and I hope thatâs a very long time. Happy snuggly days ahead to us all! ð UPDATE: I found that after washing this carrier, the tag inside was soft. No longer stiff. And I attached a video so you can see I took my guy whale watching with me and it was perfect. I forgot i had it on. I stood with him for 4 hours on the windy boat and he was fine the whole time inside. (Ok watch the video, maybe we wonât go again lol.)

Great carrier
I recently bought and had to return another sling from different company because it just didnât support my tiny dog. I donât have a very big dog only about 2 1/2 pounds maybe and he was falling out of the other one because it did not support him however, once I received this point And I put him in it it is so perfect. He sets it fine and comfortably I can wear it comfortably the whole support. I donât feel like heâs going to fall out of it and you can tell he actually enjoys going in this flame. The old swing that I had bought before this one I had for about a month before I returned it, and he absolutely hated getting in the sling. You can tell he was uncomfortable , so Iâm very grateful that I found a product that has really thought about how the pet feels whenever theyâre in the item got a lot of padding so heâs nice and comfortable. Itâs just a perfect fit overall very sturdy and I havenât had him fall out or even almost fall out the old one he would fall out it was very unsafe, so Iâm very grateful that this one is so much safer . Id but it again if i was looking for one.

The fabric both interior and exterior is better than expected. The sling is well made and surprisingly decent quality all around for the price. My 9 lb mini dachshund was an immediate fan (she was all snuggled in and ready to stay before the tags were taken off) . She loves being held and this is a solution for short term carries. I am in my mid sixties with arthritis and carrying her has become difficult with my hands. The sling does tug on my back and my right side a bit but I think itâs a good trade off to give my hands a rest. I originally gave it a 4 as it will probably need some mending (on the stitching of the lining) after a few weeks of use. The inside seams seem a bit weak for carrying a pet up to 10 lbs.Update: weâve been using this everyday for past 2 weeks and Iâm adjusting my rating to a 5! This has been a life saver and my pup loves it. Quality of product has not been an issue. What a deal!

Disappointed.
I was really excited to get this bag.. However, it was disappointing in the fabric , both in and out. There is no structure to the bag. Nothing to support the animals feet or bottom. The inside fabric is very thin and foresee little claws going right through. It is very soft and lightweight . The buckle is heavier than the whole bag.Iâm going to give it a try, but it was sure not what was described.

Best one I’ve found yet
Tried 2 other brands, styles before finding this one. One of them the fabric was so stretchy that with my dog inside it hung way to low (only a 9lb dog) on my body. The second one was way too big for me, my dog fit fine, and it was well made, but the adjustable straps wouldn’t go short enough to make it fit my body (I’m petite 5’4″ 114 lbs) so even though I liked it it was too big for me. Finally decided to look at this one and it’s going to work for me, love the soft fabric the adjustable wide strap and the big pocket area for my dog. She’s a disabled little chihuahua (born with congenital defects in her back hips and knees due to inbreeding) and loves to be outside but can’t really go for walks with me and my other dog. She fits perfectly with room for a small blanket on the bottom and I can adjust the shoulder strap so it fits high on my body and she just tucks right into my side. Very happy with it and so is she.

Well-made and perfect for our small dog.
Our yorkie poo weighs 10-11 pounds, and is quite comfortable in this sling. He’s 15 and anxious about being left behind, so we’ve carried him around in it for various errands. A small pocket for your phone. Very solid but lightweight.
