Good design and well made.
I like the larger capacity without the expandable side panels. All my gear and a jacket fits easily. The Quicktrack makes it simple to remove the trunkbag and take it in a restaurant or store. Itâs nice they include a shoulder strap!

Great Bag, Topeak never disappoints
It’s the old adage, you get what you pay for. While this might be a little bit higher price bag it’s definitely a quality bag. It fits nicely on the rack that I bought with the easy quick lock system. Plenty of storage and I would recommend it.

It’s expensive, but it is worth it
I didn’t want to spend the money for this bag or the rack mount that it requires. I looked at a variety of other options on Amazon and even bought one of the less expensive and slightly smaller units available.In the end, this bag is very high quality and the rack system with its slide in track and locking system is super convenient.I purchased the bag version that does not have panniers. This allows more storage in the side pockets. I am able to get all my essential tools including my portable air pump all into one side pocket. The other side pocket holds my wallet, phone and personal items. I placed my small cable lock in the rear water bottle pocket because I rarely carry extra water.. There is an interior pocket in the lid of the center storage area that holds my bike keys, lock keys and other small items.The center storage compartment is very large and extends even taller if needed. Right now I keep a spare tube and a couple other items that use a very small portion of the available space.The outer lid has a mesh pocket and an elastic laced hold down area. I have not found a great use for this area yet. I do wish the mesh pocket had a velcro seal so I could trust any contents to stay in there throughout my ride.This is my first rear rack and bag and I have found 2 issues that I hadn’t thought too much about previously. First is there is no view of the bag while riding, I can’t turn my head enough to see any of it to make sure everything is okay. The second issue is that I am getting older and it was already getting difficult to mount up by swinging my leg up and over the seat, now I need to keep that leg high enough to clear the entire rear bag and the seat.I previously used a handlebar mounted bag which worked great, I love having more storage with the new rear bag for day trips or runs to the hardware or grocery store. I really love the handlebar area that has been freed up now that the front bag is no longer needed.

Just what I was looking for . . .
But I had to make a hack. My seat is setback and low enough that the pack presses against it if it’s locked in the normal way. I simply used a couple zip ties to keep it secure and back a little. It works great like that. I don’t need to take it off but it’s easy enough to re-zip tie if I need to, or just let it touch the seat.I actually have a model I got years ago with the zip out panniers. I was switching it between the two bikes I ride. I wanted one for each bike so I got the smaller one with the panniers. It was so small as to be useless so back it went.I actually have some regular panniers and wanted just a trunk bag. I was putting my cell phone in the side compartment most of the time anyway. So now I put my old one on one bike, and I can use the zipout panniers, and this new one on the bike I do most of my daily rides on. I love the side compartments and I can use my other panniers if I know I’m going to need them.I carry my tools and tube in the middle compartment. I actually find the water bottle holder useful for carrying a small spare.I would really like it if I could use it like intended, and I can on the one bike. But it was easy to rig and very secure. I have extra zips with me just in case.

Very well constructed
I purchased this bag for my wife’s bike. She had been wanting a bag (mostly me because I carry her stuff when we ride together). She does not need a lot of storage, but does need some. I looked at a lot of systems and purchased a back rack and this bag. I wanted a quick attach system rather than straps to hold the bag.The bag is well constructed and has a good capacity. It attaches easily with the MTX rack I have. The only reason I rated 4 stars is because I was looking for a slightly smaller (shorter) bag. When attached on my wife’s bike, this bag sticks up above her seat and causes her some problems when she gets on/off the bike. Most people look for larger capacity and there is basically no option for shorter bags.Overall, I would recommend this rack and bag system.

Great when paired with Topeak Super Tourist Tubular Bicycle Rack DX
Great trunk bag! I paired it with the Topeak Super Tourist Tubular Bicycle Rack DX for disc breaks and it works great! I have a set of Ortliebs and I didn’t want to fuss with a tight fit – that’s always a pain, so this is perfect for me. For a lighter work day or to take a short day trip, I just use this trunk bag. The only thing is that it can rattle a little bit. When I have the Ortlieb panniers on either side of it, no rattle, but without them, I usually shove something between the bag and the rack to stop the rattle. I like that it has stiff walls, the elastic cord on top is perfect to stash a light jacket quickly, the divider in the middle is nice for organization, the water bottle holder is great for an additional drink if I need it and the side pockets are nice to slip some extra papers/receipts/small tools into. I don’t really use the shoulder strap that comes with it, but it’s there if you need to strap it on (it does look a little flimsy though). There’s a small rear loop to clip a rear light on – that’s great, I like to have two rear lights for safety, so one is on the bike, one on the bag. I’d give it 5 stars if it didn’t rattle in the track.

Love the MTX system
This is a high quality, well made bag. The expansion area really enhances the usefulness. When extended, it will hold my my MB helmet with visor inside. I love the MTX system. My wife and I have different MTX trunk bags, so we can easily interchange. This one is highly recommended.

Good Storage
Took it on a three day bike packing trip. Nice expansion zipper to give a little more room. Stayed in place on the rack. Fit securely, did not worry about it coming off. Like the side pockets as well, easy to use and store items needed quickly.

Very well thought out mounting system with TOPEAK’s MTX quick latch and release to take the bag with you. Holds a good bit of cargo securely, i.e. wallet, keys, cell-phone, etc., without having to wear cargo pants/shorts to house them all. Lots of room leftover for whatever else your mind can envision fitting into this bag. If I were to deduct a star for anything? It would be price. Between this bag and the TOPEAK rack you need to buy separately to mount it to your bike, you’re well over $150 and closer to the $200 price point. But I’m not going to deduct a star because like I said in the headline, it’s expensive but once you have it all setup, you’ll love it. Recommended for the more serious bicycling enthusiast that spends a lot of time on two wheels.

Lo primero es que hay que tener un porta equipajes de la misma marca, ya que éste lleva un rail por donde se desliza la bolsa.Perfecto para cuando no necesito mucha capacidad de carga y puedo dejar las alforjas en casa. En mi caso, puedo llevar esta bolsa más las dos alforjas sin problemas.
