I spotted this gift browsing Amazon for a gift for my wife. I wanted something unique that was made well. While this may not be fine jewelry it is certainly a step above costume jewelry. My wife enjoyed it when she opened the box, and enjoys it more because she gets many compliments while wearing it. She also likes that it is a personal gift containing her birthstone. The one thing that could be done to improve this product is if it was put in a fine jewelry gift box. If i had more time I would have gone out and purchased a nice necklace box it deserves to be in.
