My brotherâs neighbor gave him a gift of these cookies. When they were done, I looked on Amazon and found them there, so I ordered them because they are so delicious!

DISAPPOINTED
Upon receiving my order, I noticed that there wasn’t any label stating “fragile “. When I opened the package it was full of crumbs, in the package. The container holding the cookies had a broken lid, and smashed and broken cookies. I can’t believe how I received my order. These cookies had a description of being XL cookies,that couldn’t have meant the cookies cause they were miniature in size. I was so upset about how my order arrived I didn’t want to even taste the broken cookies I received. I will never order them again and I don’t recommend them. I wish I had of checked the comments first cause I wouldn’t have ever placed that order. If I could have rated it 0 I would have.

Delicious. Do not understand the negative reviews but speculate negative reviewers got a bad batch or they are angry at life. Also my ginger snaps were completely in tact, cookies were not crushed at all. These things are really good.

Not as strong a flavor as I expected.
Perhaps memory or age have tricked me, but my recollection of ginger snaps of old had a real kick to them. I did not get that with these. These cookies were tasty and enjoyable and I may order them again, but I am still looking for that cookie I remember.

Iâm a little disappointedâ¦
Iâm a little disappointed in these cookies. I used to buy them all the time at Trader Joeâs, but with Covid restrictions I havenât been able to get to the store since last spring. When I saw these here I was delighted. When I saw the price I was not delighted but decided thatâs the cost of getting things delivered. Anyhow, I decided to splurge because I really used to like these cookies and we all want a little treat these days. I donât know if the cookies have changed or if my memory is faulty, but these are not the special super gingery cookies I remember. Not to mention that the packaging really does not protect the cookies in transit, so I got a lot of broken cookies and crumbs. Flavor was much less gingery than I remember, texture was much more âsandyâ and dry than I remember, and they are on the verge of being burned. Some of the cookies have just the slightest bitter flavor of an over-baked cookie and others are just dry, but without the bitter flavor. I checked the date and they are well within the use by date. The picture in the listing looks like the cookies I remember but the cookies I received donât look a whole lot like the picture.So, I really donât know if I had remembered these as being much more yummy than they were, or if the recipe has changed, or if there is another explanation. What I received definitely was not worth the premium price I paid for them. When we can get back inside stores I will take a look to see how they compare to what I got it I wonât be ordering these again.

No Snap, Little Ginger
Not what a Ginger Snap Cookie is to me, no snap, soft instead of hard snap, small in size. For what it claims, not much of a ginger taste. One time purchase only for me, I’ll continue to find a Great Ginger Snap Cookie.
