Truform 8845 was created to help relieve conditions associated with poor circulation. Graduated compression technology delivers a compressive action to the leg that is greatest at the ankle, then gradually decreases toward the heart. The 30-40 mmHg very firm compression level is great for post surgery and severe edema, varicose veins, hypotension, post thrombotic syndrome (PTS), post sclerotherapy, and more. Truform therapeutic medical stockings feature classic styling and a smooth knit fabric that helps conceal unsightly conditions. The closed toe offers a more natural stocking feel. Color options are basic neutrals for all-occasion wear. Truform stockings, socks and pantyhose feature Graduated Compression Technology, which delivers a compressive action to the leg that is greatest at the ankle, then gradually decreases toward the heart. Graduated compression provides two primary benefits: it helps lessen and treat swelling for the wearer, and the compression action help to prevent the slowing of blood flow so it can flow more quickly up the leg back toward the heart. Truform graduated compression support hosiery helps maintain positive circulation and leg health. We take the extra time and effort necessary to insure a therapeutically effective, comfortable fit. The combination of state-of-the-art materials and equipment, plus knitting know-how sets Truform apart from the crowd to make your legs look and feel great.

    Extra compression!
Extra compression is great! I looking for this option for a good price. They are tight thus you might have to order a size or two up

    Very high compression yet comfortable
A bit of a struggle to get them on and off, but excellent compression. Good quality, quite sturdy construction fabric.

    Not for me.
Let me begin by saying I am overweight and have back issues which make it difficult to put socks on or take them off. I needed to use a butler device to get these on; there is no device to help get them off. I followed the sizing chart and they seemed to do me rather well… until one ripped while I was pulling it up. But, still, I managed to get them on and wore them. The tear should not have happened. The compression seemed okay. What did happen and was much worse is the top band of the sock felt like is was cutting into my flesh. I think it rolled and the darn thing hurt. I think if the top band was made differently, wider band with less compression up there so it didn’t cut into my flesh, it would be better. So, this thing is “cutting” into my flesh and I try and take them off. Between my weight and back issues, I could only bring the sock part way down my calf. So this compression sock was now doubled over on itself and really tight. The band was now lower on my calf and cutting into me even worse. (No, it did not cut my flesh, but certainly felt like it might, it hurt that much. Not good. I managed to get home and had to cut the damn things off because they were so difficult to remove. So, do they compress? Yes. But, if you have difficulty reaching down to the very end of your foot so you can put them on and take them off like a woman does with her nylons, you may face the struggle I did trying to get them off. No fun and you may want to reconsider. Certainly not for me. Amazon sells a graduated compression vital sock that I found to be a good balance of compression and ease of dressing or removal.

    Nice budget compression stockings
These are good quality budget compression stocks. I’ve tried many dozens over the past ten years and I would say these are the best quality and have the most accurate compression of any of the budget brands. However, if you can afford even one pair of Jobst “Active” knee highs, treat yourself to a pair. You will not be sorry. If not, Truform is the best on the market.

    Trueform I trust.
Told to get 30mm strength. 30mm to 40mm a bit too stiff but wore all week. Got runners in it not using an aid device but have other Trueform 15mm knee high that held up fine.

Weird fit… runs small but plus size is way too long
These were incredibly hard to get on when I ordered my size + 1 size up according to the chart. I got them on with some fighting so a second size up might have worked. BUT then these socks were nonsensically long. The heel part came up past my ankle, and the socks were so tall that they came up to my thigh and then rolled down in a very uncomfortable way, or I would have to bunch them down which just doesn’t work for compression wear. I’m 5’5″ and wear size 10.5 shoes lol. I ordered the largest size 3x despite my calf measurement being in the 2x range.

    Feel Great!
I have a problem with swelling in my feet and ankles. Or I did, until I bought these. The day they came, my ankles and feet were swollen so badly, I wasn’t sure I’d be able to get these stockings on, but with a little effort I did. And the relief was almost immediate. I could tell the swelling was going down. A few hours later, I took them off to shower and saw that the swelling was completely gone. I put them back on after, just to be sure it didn’t come back. It didn’t…..not for several days, which for me is a big deal. Now, when my feet or ankles start to look like they might swell up, I put these on and I can feel the circulation working and the pressure feels so good on my sore ankles especially.I’ve worn them all day on the weekend. I’ve slept in them. I’ve washed them and hung them to dry. They still work just as well as ever and look almost new. I will buy another pair just like these if I ever wear this pair out.

I have the small size 30-40 mmHg and they are great. Tight, well made. A bit tall for me (I’m 5’6″) but totally wearable. I now own 7 pairs of these TruForm socks (in different colours) because these are a reasonable price and actually work.
