Great on rabbits and humans
I got this spray for my rabbits to deter them from chewing the base boards. This stuff DOES WORK! My rabbits were immediately disgusted by whatever I had sprayed and have no chewed any of those locations in a month.However, it also deters me from breathing in the room I sprayed it. You will want to cover your mouth while spraying or else you will inhale it and have to rinse out your mouth. Also, be aware that everything you touch after spraying will be on your hands. Make sure to wash them well before touching your face or eating. I cannot fault the spray for this as it is just doing the job it was made for.Overall, I would get this product again.

I wish I never bought this
First – I sprayed this in my house and quickly I could feel my mouth start tingling. I probably should be more careful.BUT – this product does not work for my cat – he isn’t affected by it at all which is the whole point of. I will still need to search for a product that actually works and prevents my cat from chewing on items.

If using this product be careful… it gets in the air when sprayed and leaves foul taste in the mouth. It worked for a day, then had to be resprayed everyday… unfortunately, I couldn’t take the smell and taste in my mouth anymore.

You do NOT need a lot
This stuff is great! My cat took one lick of himself and then didn’t go back for more. My female kitten has been trying to nurse on her brother and the SOUND of it really gets on my last nerve, so I really bought this spray for her to leave him ALONE. It has been great at deterring her from trying to nurse on him.

Not effective on rabbits
Product states that it works with rabbits. It does not. My rabbit immediately resumed chewing on his net/door, even after I applied a significant amount of the product. Maybe it works for dogs, but not rabbits. Had to wear a mask and disposable gloves to spray on the cage, as even the mist from the spray can be accidentally âtastedâ while breathing – extremely bitter. So, it is as powerful as advertised, just not doable to deter rabbits from chewing.

Loved it, it kept my cat from chewing on whatever I sprayed it on. I know itâs disgusting because I went to take my retainer off after spraying it and all I could taste was BITTER.

There’s a Problem with Odor
I ordered this in case our cat continued chewing on things, but it was a while before I needed to try it. The cat likes to chew on plastic and tape. I installed an AC in a window, and had to tape all around the adapter to seal things in, and she started chewing on the tape. So I sprayed all the tape with this. I did not notice much odor at all at the time. But the next day when I ran the AC, only the second day of using it this year, the room filled with a somewhat unpleasant, citrus-like odor. I mean, it pretty bad. I investigated every possibility, including contacting the AC manufacturer. There was simply nothing in our fragrance-free home to cause this smell, and there was nothing coming in from outside. I spent so much time trying to figure out a solution, and eventually borrowed a different AC unit from somewhat, uninstalled the old, installed this one, turned it on, and there was that #### odor! It wasn’t from the AC. Then somehow it hit me. I had sprayed this bittering agent the day before the smell started. That was the only thing that could have caused it. I scrubbed everywhere the spray had hit, with several different agents, and it was still there. I replaced all the stuff in the window, and taped everything with different tape. It has been slowly easing since then. It was horrible experience. Absolutely wouldn’t recommend this product. Be warned it may sneak up on you.

I purchased this item to keep my budgies from chewing ornaments around the house. The budgies loves the taste even after spraying a quarter of the container on them. Just for the heck of it I touched my tongue with this solution. ð Iâm definitely not going to chew the ornaments. Product works but not for budgies.

My dog actually likes this and was licking my hands enthusiastically when I sprayed them. She seemed to like the smell on my shoes as well and it hasn’t stopped her biting unfortunately. Quite a high price to pay for something that didn’t work.
