Bark bark bar- whoa, what was that?
So I have dogs with “fence aggression” – they wanna bark at innocent passers-by and menace the neighbors. The idea of a shock collar got vetoed and since I’m lucky enough to work from home next to the back door, I figure I could try a more ‘manual’ approach.Charging via USB-C goes quick and the unit was ready for testing. The dogs were doing the normal bark bark routine at the neighbor’s dog across the street – I stepped out and told them to be quiet, no reaction per usual. I hit the noise-maker button and both dogs stopped and wheeled back to look at me. Even the neighbors dog across the street was quiet.Since that time I can just step outside, give a command and hold up the unit – both dogs stop and look at me and disengage from the behavior. Overall I’m pretty happy. It has a flashlight, so if you were walking in the dark and your dogs went bonkers, you could give them the business end of the noise maker. That said, if it’s dark they might be barking at a bear or mountain lion, so maybe you’d want them to keep making noise?

Easy to use
So I am still on the fence about current and long term effectiveness of the this product, but so far it has helped eliminate my dogs barking.Anytime anyone walks past my house or approaches my front door, or the neighbors check their mail, my dogs goes bizerk. I got this to try to curb that.The first time I used it he spun around a looked at me like I was crazy but did stop barking although he still went to the door and low growled. I have used it quite a few more times since the initial use and I will say it has stopped or at least lessened his barking about 7 out of 10 times. With that said- the box and paperwork say human’s cannot hear the noise, but I hear a very faint high-pitched sound when i push the button on the control and my head immediately starts hurting afterwards.

Works well
It works with my neighbors small dog. I am using it on a few non barking dogs that invade my yard frequently to deter them from coming around. It puts my cat in panic mode right away.

Works half the time and beeps
Why this beeps and flashes a light in the front is a mystery to me and totally defeats the discreet nature of the device. I’m gonna tape over the light and open it up to stop the beeping. A red dot also lights on the top which is all you need to know it’s working. It has a dim LED flashlight that is basically useless unless you’re really in desperation. For the actual function of this I watched it get animal attention at best 50% of the time as most times it just got ignored.
