ALL PREVENTION AND MOBILITY INDEPENDENCE – Our bed rail passed ASTM F3186–17 Safety Standard Specification for Adult Portable Bed Rails in compliance with CPSC. Use the bed rail as a safe and secure way for disabled individuals or anyone with limitations or injuries to get in and out of bed unassisted to perform daily tasks (eating, reading, working) without leaving the bed.
SAFE AND DURABLE MODERN DESIGN – Heavy-duty powder-coated steel provides a strong, sturdy frame that holds up to 300 lbs and supports the transfer in and out of bed from a walker/wheelchair. Modern bed rail design blends in nicely in any bedroom.
SLIP-RESISTANT PADS – Slip-resistant handle with foam padding, horizontal stabilizer bars, and floor-standing legs work to increase stability for users. It will not work on low bed/platform bed with height clearance less than 13 inches from floor to frame.
UNIVERSAL ADJUSTABLE BED RAIL – Adjustable height and width allow product to fit any sized bed (twin, full, double, queen, king) and on either side of the bed (right or left). Note: Bed Assist Handle/Rail works only with mattresses 7-11 inches in height.

Customers say

Customers like the sturdiness, ease of assembly, and ease of getting out of bed of the product. They mention it works well, is easy to install, and serves two purposes. Some also say it’s safe, helps the elderly, and has height adjustment. However, some customers have reported that it doesn’t adjust down short enough for high beds.

    Sturdy and handled weight-bearing well
I bought this adjustable bed assist rail handle in November 2022 for my loved one who needed assistance getting in and out of bed after experiencing significant medical issues. He needed something that could support his weight, as he needed the rail for both balance while sitting/standng and support while getting in/out of bed and getting dressed. This rail worked perfectly. It remained sturdy and in place, and never yielded under his weight. I’m so grateful that it gave my loved one some independence and dignity back, something that you just can’t put a price tag on. My loved one used it nearly every day for 7 months until he passed away, and now I hope to give it to someone else who can use it. The only caveats are: (1) measure the height of the box springs, mattress and any mattress topper to ensure that it is tall enough to extend above. the mattress (or mattress topper if you have one), and (2) it’s challenging to install the support strap with only one person for a California king-sized bed. However, neither of those have to do with the product and more about doing a little due diligence and getting help. In our case, the weight of the mattress with the long bar of the rail kept the rail adequately in place, but I would have preferred having the strap fully in place in an abundance of caution. If I were back in November 2022 and had to make a purchasing decision again, I would make the same decision. I hope this helps.

    Sturdy
This is super study and helps those needing assistance to sit up have something to hold onto. I was not able to get the strap to wrap around my king box spring. However without it being attached this is still extremely steady and helpful. The pocket is also great to store my phone and remote.

Nice Handle For The Bed, But A Weird Tie-down Strap
This rail is a great bed accessory, but it doesn’t install as described. We picked this model because we decided that legs on the floor were more stable than the models that merely slide under the bed. After a bit of a problem-solving brainstorm, we got it installed and it works fine. It is kind of short for the bed, but to be fair, the destructions do say that it’s meant for narrow mattresses. We wanted it to work anyway because of the brand, the price, and the stability. The frame itself was simple to put together. We lifted the mattress and expected to have it installed in minutes. Then we came to the strap. The destructions were not clear on this point and the diagrams looked like this very long strap was just supposed to hook over the bed frame on the opposite side of the bed. There was way too much strap for that. Since this rail is supposed to fit all bed sizes, we just figured that all the extra length was for the king beds and since we were dealing with twin, we’d just shorten the strap. It was still too long. The frame of the rail that goes under the mattress is as wide as the twin mattress itself, so it’s only a few inches down to the bed frame on the other side. And the direction the buckle pointed indicated that the strap had to come from the opposite direction. So it took some analytical thinking to solve this problem and figure out that the strap had to go all the way around the box spring and come up from under the bed to buckle on the other side. From that angle, it tightened just like any buckle strap and the bed rail was secure. But, there’s always a but. We had to take the bed skirt off because you can’t buckle a strap over a bed skirt that’s under the rail frame. We could have cut the bed skirt to make slits for the strap, but that would be just as ugly as no bed skirt. So we’ll live with what you can see in the picture. The black strap is going around the box spring. The rail stands just above the mattress. This was only meant as a handle to hold on to, not a safety rail to keep anybody from rolling out of bed, so the height works for us. It’s actually a good height to hold while standing. Yes, it would be nice if they could add a few more holes into the upward adjustment so the rail could be higher. We don’t really see why that would be so hard on future models. But for now, it’s the best that it will get. We like it and it works for the intended purpose, but we’re rating it a 4 because of the unclear instructions regarding the strap which results in having to jimmy-rig it your own way with somewhat unprofessional looking results. In case you’re wondering, that other black thing you see in the picture is our pre-existing bed table. It, too, has a frame that simply slides under the mattress and was convenient for years. We didn’t want to lose that table because of the bed rail, so luckily it fit right between the rails, and right where it always was. Yet because the bed rail poles are a thicker dimension than the table poles, and you can see how the bed rail lifts the mattress a bit, the table was too loose when it slid in under the mattress. We just zip-tied the two together and we have a more stable table than we ever had! The table hides the use of the mesh pocket, but that’s okay with us. We installed it just because. We don’t need it and could just take it off.

    Very sturdy
Purchased this to help my dad get in and out of bed as his strength was declining and everyday tasks were becoming more difficult. Easy to assemble, built well and he said it helped immensely.

    Sturdy, compact, and strong.
I had just switched down to a single from a standard sized bed. I nearly rolled out of bed twice before I bought this safety rail. It’s also a great help getting gout of bed.

Top bar not very high above the mattress
The bed rail was very easy to assemble by myself and once secured to the bed frame is very secure and stable. However, I only gave it 3 stars as the top rail is very close to the top of mattress and doesn’t really provide enough height to help him move up or turn easier in the bed. Unable to raise the legs higher to increase the overall height as it also raised the part that went between the mattress and box springs and lifted the mattress off the box springs. BUT the worst thing was the fastener part of the strap was actually attached to the end of the rail and could not be adjusted on the strap to be fastened out at the bed frame; I had to get in between the mattress and box springs while trying to keep the flashlight in place so I could see to fasten the straps after running the one around the bed frame. :(It is helping though so we will keep it. It would probably work really good for someone with a lower bed frame or not as deep mattress/box springs.
