Amazing
Hands down the BEST all cotton blanket you can buy, especially for the price. Thick solid cotton, soft and snuggly and not too warm but keeps you warm. Yes, it’s 100% cotton, so, of course there will be lint in your dryer…it’s an ALL NATURAL fiber and it does shrink some. I bought a king for my queen bed and went back and bought a twin to have on my sofa to cover up. Excellent blanket

Best waffle weave blanket!
First, if you complained about lint, then you don’t understand natural fiber. This has a lot of lint because it is cotton, a natural fiber. I have washed it twice, and there is a lot of lint left behind. This is normal and to be expected. If it didn’t, you should assume it is not natural! It is also very soft and fits wonderfully. It did shrink a bit, but I bought a king on purpose for my queen bed. See photo. It is heavy enough that you can’t see your hand through it like other cheaper brands I have tried. Also, yes, expect a few threads (it’s waffle weave!), but I trimmed them and nothing to worry about! This is lovely!

Great quality, sheek, and amazing price!
I chose to use the Vera Wang waffle King blankets with the Vera Wang all cotton luxury pillow cases, to spring out our Primary Bedroom for the spring and summer, and these items do not disappoint in all aspects.The aesthetic is obsessive,(I am obsessed!). The comfort is refreshing, and perfect for keeping climate temperature while sleeping. The only downfall I can point out is that it can easily get snagged. We have big dogs and they should not get on the bed, but they do sneak on while my husband and i sleep, and their nails get caught in the waffle patterns and snag the blanket.Since not many people have this issue, it is not really a problem, but if you are looking for a dog snag proof durability blanket, yet still boujee, this waffle blanket may not be right for you.However I am still getting a couple more of these for guests and gifts, because i adore them along with the quality and looks.*Picture 2 may be deceiving because I added a throw blanket that is not the Vera Wang, I should have showcased more of the Vera Wang Blanket, but I am horrible at photography, and the details that should be entailed*

Poor Quality, sheds like crazy, shrinks to unusable size
Purchased twice. First one had such poor stitching I returned immediately (loose threads all over, lines in the middle of the pattern). They do look nice and feel heavy but never got to use either one. Second one looked okay in terms of quality so I was going to keep it. Stuck in washer and dryer on delicate. Had to clear my dryer vent 3 times, it produced so much lint I could have made a hand towel (see other reviewer pic). Then put it back on bed and it didn’t even cover the edges. What a waste of time.

Thick and Heavy
Overall decent blanket. Very pleased with the thickness, weight and warmth. I like the blanket but not completely happy with it. First of all I was aware of the issues I would have with the first was but oh my! The shear amount of lint that you get off it the first time through the laundry is just insane! Was afraid I may have ruined my washer or risked clogging my drain after taking it out. You will definitely want to shake it out before putting it in the dryer to get as much of the lint off as you can because every 10 minutes you will need to clean your lint filter. Think I emptied mine like ten times and it was packed. Washing this blanket is literally like throwing a small bale of raw cotton in the wash. Secondly there are a few straggler threads around the hem of the piece that I feel should not have been an issue given the cost of this piece. As far as softness and plushness goes it is a waffle weave blanket and as far as I know there is no such thing. It is as soft as a waffle weave can be IMO. I am sure you could make it softer by adding softener when washing but when I think of waffle weave soft is not what I envision.

This is the third one I have bought. Its very well made and beautiful. The only downside is that it runs a little small. I would still buy it again. I have given them to my granddaughters.

Hot or Cold
I am a hot sleeper, and this blanket has been a game-changer. It definitely regulates my body temperature throughout the night. It is nice and heavy without trapping heat. It is easy to wash and is very well made.

Disappointed
I bought this blanket in a queen size for a guest bedroom as I have the same brand on the bed in our master. I washed it before putting on the bed and it shrunk so bad it barely fits the bed.

Loved it out of the box however it had yellow stains in a couple spots so threw it in washer. Once it was washed and dried it lost alot of fluff and pulled in a number of spots. Top loader and never had this issue peviously. Love my VeraWang sheets and their thickness. Expected same quality…..
