Great for little kids
We use this timer for time out for my little one. I like that he can see how much longer he has to sit on his bed since the line on the outside ticks away. It helps him stay put for the 2 minutes I have him stay in his bedroom to cool down. Definitely has helped his behavior and relax to pause and just breath. Easy to use and small which is nice. The smiley face on it is cute too.

Great for ADHD adults
I have ADHD and have struggled for many, many years with âtime blindnessâ. Doesnât matter how many alarms I set or apps I install on my phone, I frequently hyper focus during the work day. Half the time I am focusing on the wrong things. This has resulted in the need to work late, stressed over what I didnât accomplish but still needs to get done.This timer has been very, very effective in helping me timebox tasks (especially due to ease of use). Seeing the dashes on the screen vanishing seems to work much much better for my brain than seeing/setting a countdown timer. Luckily this timer does both, so I can see exactly how much time is left vs âcrap, most of the dashes are vanished! I have been using this with my 2 & 1/2 yr old to help her with transitions and it has been very helpful so far. She still complains when I make her do something else but not near as much as before. It also helps me to be consistent with the amount of time I let her do things (like just watching tv) because we both know that when the timer goes off itâs time to be all done!The only downside is that she quickly learned how to pause the timer. ð

Great timer we are using for 2 minutes of teeth brushing. Great way to help a kid learn timers, numbers and visually watching the count down. Very easy to turn the dial to the right amount of time. Would buy again.

Love the look of this little timer, I have 2 in pink. It just makes me happy I use it with rechargable batteries and it works great. Doesn’t burn through batteries super fast like one of my other digital timers. It also has survived a few drops on hard surfaces, but I don’t recommend it. I use this in a middle school science classroom, and my students love it, too. I get so many commments on it from the other teachers. You can turn the face on or off, if you want. I like that this one shows the full circle as the total amount of time, ie… 5 minutes, so students have a better grasp of how much time they have used and have left. Some other times, show 60 minutes, so when you set for 5 minutes, it’s only a tiny wedge (great for kids learning time, but not so great, for project management). It is super easy to set the timer, just turn the dial.
