It was cute but not functional. I didnât even think about it but your incense just ends up mixing with the rocks and sand because thatâs where it falls. Also the rocks that the incense are supposed to sit in are not stable and so the incense falls over. I wouldnât buy for incense use, but maybe just for decor.

Black ashes….white sand…..not a good combo
I blame myself. I should have used my brain before purchasing useless “Incense Holder” “Hmmmm…where will the black ashes drop”, I should have asked myself? In the WHITE sand, of course!! Also, when I did use a rock (on a separate platform) as an incense holder, the bottom of the incense stick broke off in the rock when I pulled it out. Now, there is a piece of incense forever stuck in my little rock. This product gets an extra star for at least being a cute decoration.

You have to use small incense otherwise the tall ones will just tip over. Also, all the ash gets into the white sand. I didn’t think about that before buying. It’s about the size of a round coaster.

I say two stars because when I light the incense the ashes fall into the sand and now the sand is no longer white, its grayish. This isn’t all that bad but it defeats the purpose.
