Works as a Decent Lens Bag
This pouch is marketed as a chalk bag for climbing, but I selected it with a completely different use in mind. I chose it as a protective sleeve for a camera lens. It has proven to work very well in that capacity and I am very pleased with it.This is a smallish bag, about the size of a large mitten. I am able to completely get my hand inside of it and make a fist. It is lined with a soft material that is non-abrasive and won’t damage things put inside. The outer shell is waxed canvas so it will resist water and moisture, and this is exactly what I needed for protecting my lenses. The bag is sturdy enough to protect the contents, though it is not going to protect against far drops and crush damage. It is not the intended purpose for this bag, so it’s not a failure. My use case doesn’t require that much protection anyway.The bag is slightly large for the lens I had in mind for it, but it still works well. The extra room leaves space for a few other items like a lens cap, cleaning cloth and a couple of odds and ends.I am very pleased with this bag and will put it to good use. It’s heavy enough to protect a camera lens and is made well enough for small items, though its intended purpose is to be a chalk bag.

An unforseen winner
My usually chalk bag is definitely one of those goofy types, the sort that stands out at the gym. But as the belt on it ages and I find myself occasionally in different vehicles getting to where I am climbing, I decided to pick up a secondary bag just in case. I like the simple design here as a change, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the belt, a heavier duty nylon than I usually see. The real nice bit I didn’t anticipate was the rigidity of the waxed canvas. The bag is basically freestanding if you put it down, which is great. The drawstring could be a bit tighter, but since it’s less prone to flopping over, I suppose that evens out. The pocket isn’t really big enough for my phone but does hold my earbud case fine, though I might have preferred it a bit more to the side for accessibility rather that directly against your body. Still, I have found it to be a great chalk bag.

Very nice bag, but lacks a belt clip.
This bag is very well made. The zippered side-pocket is very useful for a cell phone and the main compartment is large enough for most uses. What it lacks is a belt clip or belt loops. You are only given tiny loops and the provided nylon belt, which is rather meager. But… overall… I like it and will use it.

Well Made Chalk Bag and Stylish Too
Well-made chalk bag with a some type of wire or stiff plastic around the top edge to help hold it open so your hand can easily get inside for some chalk. The outer waxed canvas is super strong, made to withstand getting scraped against the cliff face, and will withstand a lot of abuse. Inside, the first part is maybe made of some sort of nylon that then gives way to soft, plush material where the chalk resides. This will accommodate fairly large hands, with a 4-inch opening. It cinches closed at the top via a pushbutton slider on a strap. This will keep your chalk from seeping out during transit in your vehicle. When not using it for climbing, it can double as a 32 oz or smaller drink holder. The strap fits nicely around one’s waist and snaps closed with a quality plastic buckle. It’s well made, stylish and ready to assist you on the next ascent.

Excellent small bag for carrying around items
Iâm not a climber but my daughter loves to imitate her mom so I bought this as a childâs purse. I have waxed canvas bags for my things and I know they hold up well. This one is doing just that also. The inner lining is thicker fluffy or felt on the bottom and around the bottom side and then a thinner felt on the top. It is nice for my daughterâs toys because they do not Get scratched or her hand get scratched on a rough zone interior material. The shoulder strap is easily adjustable to fit her where she needs and will accommodate her as she grows in height. It does have a small zippered pocket on the back that she doesnât know about yet, but I have put a little AirTag in so I can find the items that she stores for us. We donât always find the TV remotes where we left them and the black inner liner hides them well.It is easily adjustable for her height, and the material is holding up well to a toddlers abuse

Functional But Small
This bag is small! Itâs about 1/3 smaller than my previous bag, and holds about 1/2 the chalk. In addition to a chalk ball, I can barely fit about 2oz of chalk, but itâs a tight squeeze when I pull in the drawstring. For some reason, the cinch is located around the midpoint of the bag, so it holds even less chalk than it looks like it would. It also has a fairly small opening that can be a tricky to navigate when climbing ropes, but is easier to manage when bouldering.Other than that, itâs a very cute color thatâs vibrant without being too flashy. The other features are pretty minimal, with a simple drawstring cinch, small zippered compartment and 1 narrow elastic loop that you can weave a small carabiner through. I mean, itâs totally a functional bag, but I wouldnât recommend it for people with larger hands, those who need to access chalk frequently or people who prefer carrying large quantities of chalk when climbing.

Very well made – Not a fan of black color – but that’s personal choice.
This black chalk bag is really well made. It speaks volumes of the quality – The tab to make the mouth bigger/smaller works well and when closed, chalk doesn’t come out of it. It also has a loop for the brush and a small zippered pocket – although my phone doesn’t fit in it. I’m mostly using this pocket for my ID and cards. I highly recommend this back for gym and indoor rock climbing.

Excellent bag! Love the super soft lining! Toggle closure works well for my needs. Included belt works as a crossbody sling for me.I like the cute bear logo on outside.Intended to be a chalk bag but I needed something this size with a soft lining for eye and ear protection and this bag works perfectly for that purpose.
