Weruva Classic Dog Food, Bed & Breakfast with Chicken, Egg, Pumpkin & Ham in Gravy, 14oz Can (Pack of 12)

I have three medium-sized, adult dogs. I had been feeding them premium kibble with a different brand of premium wet food as a topper. They ate it, but sometimes left some food in their bowls. Weruva was recommended to me, and I’m so happy I tried it. My dogs go wild for it. I’ve purchased Paw Lickin Chicken, Wok the Dog, Steak Frites, Jammin Salmon, and Funky Chunky. They love all the flavors. They all are good quality and contain ample amounts of protein. My only note is sometimes there is variation in the amount of chicken in Paw Lickin Chicken between cans. Ie some cans have more chicken and some have more gravy. But it evens out overall. I divide one can per meal between the three dogs and add it with their kibble. Meal time has become a hilarious period of wild excitement every morning and evening. My dogs yelp and shriek with delight and leap into the air when the can is opened. One of my dogs jumps up and pats me on the back with paws. Another one stands on hind legs and wags tail so his whole body wriggles. I have to feed them in separate rooms or else they will snarf down their food and then try to steal the other dogs’ meals. My neighbor asked me recently if my dogs are “okay” because he heard the excited yelps and barks. I explained: “My dogs like their food too much!” I am grateful to have found this food, and have come to the realization I can never change it because the dogs won’t let me. In the past I have made plain steamed chicken breast and scrambled eggs for my dogs as toppers and I honestly think they like the Weruva food more than those. I would recommend feeding with kibble or other sources of fiber since the cans don’t have high fiber content.

Dog Loves It; Arrives Fast; Is Fresh
This is quality food. It’s smells nice, has visible pieces of identifiable components, and the dog likes it.Shipping was fast and the case I received had a better (further out) expiration date than my local pet store (which is, sadly, about 50% more expensive… if they even have this food in stock).

So healthy – mostly chicken breast – but arrived damaged
This dog food has such high quality ingredients that I’m amazed it isn’t more expensive. The food smelled good enough to me that I was almost curious enough to try it….almost. Most importantly, my dog will finally eat his dry food as long as some of this canned food is mixed in. The only reason why I’m not rating this food as 5 stars is because most of the cans arrived damaged and I’m not sure if it’s safe to feed those to my dog.

MOSTLY CHICKEN
My dogs have been eating this chicken for years. They love it. Recently the tops don’t come off of the cans. The ring won’t pull back and it breaks off. It’s tough using a can opener by hand. I’ll have to buy an electric can opener since this is happening a lot! Very frustrating. Tried to contact the seller but there isn’t a place for it. PLEASE get these fixed.

Well, my dogs like this, and it does like like identifiable food. However, when I hoped the pack, several cans right in the middle were bashed in. How does that happen only to interior cans. I really felt that someone was trying to take advantage of me. Caveat Emptor!
