Adventures in sight-unseen stone carvings purchased online 🙂
So, instead of the amethyst angel carving I intend to add to my angel collection, I was tempted by the mesmerizing, transparent orange of the pictured carnelian. Fortunately, I DO know that natural stone varies considerably from one chunk to the next. My little angel turned up with some of that mesmerizing, glowy orange sandwiched between exuberant red and white stripes on one side, and a rather muddy-colored and slightly wonky wing on the other.I was all ready to be disappointed, but…it’s a unique, carved, tiny angel, and I just can’t be. If you only care for the perfectly carved and colored rendering of the pictured example, your mileage may vary, but I treasure natural stone and hand carving. With that little caveat, I can recommend these tiny figurines.UPDATE for review of alternate stone carving: I ordered one of the lepidolite angels for myself, even though I have seen some pretty unattractive lepidolite over the years, and it was prettier and more “perfect” than the picture. Nice enough that my DH asked me to order one for him and he doesn’t even collect angels…SCORE! The second lepidolite angel was as pretty and perfect as the first one, enough that I was happy to let him choose his favored one ;-)*To be clear, I did not request the lepidolite angels on the Vine, but I can’t post a “new” review for an alternate version I’ve already reviewed.*

Beautiful small and even company Angel that is made from Green Aventurine. Very pretty. Comes is a nice box and is perfect for a gift too! Very nice and pretty!Love it and would buy for a family member or a friend that likes angels and crystals and stones.

This is a cute little angle figurine. I chose the lepidolite crystal and it looks very nice. This would make a great gift for someone, especially with mother’s day approaching. It is very small, make sure to pay attention to measurements, it is roughly 1.5 inches long. Comes in a nice pouch and box, like I said, perfect for gifting.

this little crystal is so beautiful and has such a nice weight to it. You can tell that it is real and a natural rose quartz stone. Such a cute addition to my crystal collection, and it’s the perfect size to be a little gift to someone you loveð

Nice little Rose Quartz Carved Angel
I like this little decorative rose quartz stone angel carving. It came with a super soft pink jewelry pouch and a surprise gift of a mini polished white stone puffy heart. What I appreciate most about this product listing is that the angel comes in many different stone types, with expected natural variation in stone quality and color. They donât show all pictures of the highest quality stone carvings that donât represent what you are actually most likely to get, which is often a problem in this industry. 5 stars for the honesty, transparency and delivering a product that is nicer than pictured.

When it arrived, I was a bit surprised by its size. I should have checked the measurements beforehand. Although it was smaller than I expected, it didn’t take away from the beauty of the figurine.I was specifically searching for an angel figurine to place next to my mother’s photo in my living room. My mother was a very spiritual person and always believed in the power of crystals for healing. So having this angel next to her photo is a beautiful way to honor her memory and keep her spirit close to me.It’s clear that a lot of care and craftsmanship went into creating this figurine. I also appreciate that it is made from natural crystals and gems, adding an element of natural healing to my space.4 STARS: If I could change one thing, it would be to have a bigger size option available. But overall, I am very happy with my Angel Figurine and would definitely purchase from this seller again. Thank you!
