You have to boil it longer
I tried this pasta initially by boiling half the box. I boiled it for the exact time on the box. The pasta was so hard and had a strong chickpea flavor. I was very disappointed but a few days later I tried boiling it longer, for 20 minutes, if not a few minutes more, yes that long. The pasta was still aldente but it tasted like regular pasta and I added the whole foods marina sauce and drizzled some olive oil and added fresh basil. I couldnât stop eating it, now that itâs all gone Iâm back here adding several more to my cart. Iâm happy knowing Iâm eating a healthier alternative to regular pasta and that I was able to make it work.

Atkins Diet Pasta Perfect
Made a pasta dish for a friend on the Atkins Diet using these chickpea shells……delicious, cooked in the time the box called for and definitely will get them again. A very healthy way to augment protein in a dish that would be mostly carbo.

Very good
I love that they have 8 grams of protein per serving . My granddaughters favorite. They cook up a little on the dry side so I do coat them with a spritz of olive oil .

Shell yes!
Gluten free pasta that actually tastes good! These cook really well and donât get mushy like other chickpea noodles Iâve used in the past. The texture is perfect and very similar to regular pasta except much healthier. Definitely worth it for your taste buds!

Odd consistency
Iâm trying different brands of grain free pasta. I bought a pasta made with chickpeas which I really liked so thought that this would be good. I liked the idea of seashells to make mac and cheese. These were shaped more like sea snail shells so didnât drain well. No matter how long I cooked them, they still had a sort of grainy texture. If they cooled off, it was even worse. Iâm trying to use it up so I wouldnât feel like I wasted my money, but theyâre literally hard to swallow. These were pretty disappointing.

Nutritious and is good value for money
I like this category of product made from chick pea flour because of health benefits and the short time it takes to cook. This particular product provides the same benefits, it is also good value for money and I find that the taste is enhanced after adding my favorite spices and herbs.

Never disappoints
One of my favorite WFM products. I now live in an area that doesnât have a WFM and I love how I am able to still get this at the same price!

I don’t understand the good reviews
This stuff is absolutely awful. I recently switched to gluten free, and I love pasta so that was a problem. However, the others I’ve tried are so much better. The taste is so overpowering that it ruins whatever is put on it. The texture at any level of cooked is terrible. They’re grainy, fall apart in your mouth into little gritty nastyness. Gross. Do yourself a favor and avoid this sad excuse for pasta.
