Nice and Hot
The beard heat comb is very effective for straightening the fly aways of your beard. Start on the LOWEST setting to avoid damaging your beard/hair. The kit came with many items to help with the health of your beard.Loved the three different heat settings but feel the lowest temp was sufficient to âstyleâ my beard.

It’s worth the price. Very easy to use, plug it in and set the temp. Compact and easily transported. When using it you can feel the warmth but not hot. Easily goes through my beard. The added beard oil leaves my skin feeling great. Have dropped it a few times and it seems very durable.

Nice pacage
I decided to grow out my moustache and saw this kit which had a lot of different elements so I thought I’d give it a try. There are various things in the kit. Some are good, some are ok, but overall it’s a nice package. The comb, scissors, and brush are good and the straightener works very well. In fact, my daughter started using the straightner for her bangs.The only other items I really wanted to try are the balm, oil and wax. It was hard for me to see the difference between the balm and the oil. Both were supposed to go on your beard to give it a sheen. Both of them worked, but the oil was dissapointing. It just didn’t seem to be as effective as another oil I already had. The wax was ok, but didn’t have a lot of hold. The shampoo and conditioner didn’t seem to make much of a difference on my beard.Bottom line, if you want to give a gift to someone who has a beard and moustache this is a good one to consider. It has a lot of stuff that they may or may not use, but it certainly looks good.

The price is good. Although I bought this and then it went on sale so I was alittle bummed out but My honest opinion. This is a great beginner kit to get into a routine for your beard.I will start with the products. The balm is good. It doesnât really have a scent but it makes your beard look good. The wax, I was alittle disappointed with didnât hold the way I was expecting it to. The shampoo and conditioner, theyâre ok. No scent to them but works well. The heat spray is good for the comb. And now the hardware. The scissors really sharp and crisp I use them a lot. The comb and the brush are very nice brush is soft and doesnât scratch my face. The hot comb is top notch. I didnât realize how crazy my beard looked until I used the hot comb. I would definitely get this for someone as a gift. Ladies if your man has a beard and he doesnât have a routine down. I would recommend this.

I bought this a few months ago. The following review is based on my experience and tastes, so dont take this to heart.The straightener so far still works wellBut lately i use a hair dryer with the comb adapted.The shampoo and the conditioner in specific smells awesome. The balm as well, but i dont use it much. I rather use beard butter instead.Love both the comb and brush.Have not use the mustache wax.Most of my issue is with the oil.The oil itself is not bad. You may like the rustic smell, but im not really a fan. Its not a smell that i like, but neither a smell i dislike. My roommate says the same. She can’t point what the smell is like. She says is similar to a tree trunk.The problem for me is when you add another leave in product with the oil. It changes the smell drastically and not often us a good smell.Again this may be a different experience for you. But over all. The only thing you will regret is not having more of that awesome shampoo and conditioner.

I so so so wanted to give this kit five stars. I was expecting to after reading the other wonderful reviews. Sadly the beard “care” essentials turned out to be cheaply made products that are riddled with chemicals. Nothing smelled natural about any of the balms, oil or anti heat spray. The shampoo and conditioner reeked of chemicals and smelt much like the free soaps you get at a hotel for your nightly stay.To start with, something in the shampoo and conditioner set my allergies off like crazy. I had to rehash my face and beard to get my nose to calm down. My eyes were itchy, and my nose ran like Niagara falls for hours after. The beard balm and oil were so bad that my face itched and my nose and eyes were off to the races for 24 hours. No allergy med could tame whatever set it off in the products. So needless to say, nothing worked as far as the care products were concerned. My beard became dehydrated and super straw like to the touch. My wife never really complains about the scratchy feel of the beard when I use my normal products, but these in this kit? Yeah, she immediately noticed the difference.The beard straightener, shears, comb and brush are by far the best part of this entire kit. They are so nice. I never would have thought a beard straightener would have become an essential part of my daily routine, but it now has. It’s such a nice luxury and really does help tame a thicker wilder beard. It makes cutting the stray hairs more easier.All in all I’d recommend Duke Cannon products. Sure they are pricier but dang to they work and make you feel so nice and clean after. The idea of this kit was nice, but my suggestion is to keep thr ebook and the taming tools and toss the garbage balms, oils and shampoos. Total trash and not worth bathing your face in.
