good value for the price, more “griege” than gray color.
The precision of the hardware to the holes was great and the table went together in under an hour with a little help from my wife to attach the top. Make sure you attach 2 legs 1st and then flip the table over to attach the other legs. Don’t attach all 4 legs at the same time since they aren’t sturdy enough until they are screwed down. Be advised that the top opens unevenly since it uses struts instead of springs so use 2 hands to open and close the top. It is very sturdy once it is open or closed. The color is more “greige” than gray but it still looks good with gray end tables from another supplier.

Sturdy, handy, classy
This thing has a lot of parts. You should expect that, I suppose, with a cantilevered lid that you can raise while your laptop and your coffee are still on it. My first look at the assembly instructions was intimidating. But take your time and you’ll get it. And you’ll be glad. This is a fine table and I love that hidden storage.

Overall we are happy with it. We did get it on sale for a good deal, it was easy to put together even though the instructions were a bit vague. Putting it together I questioned the integrity and stability of it but it has held up well and hasnât given us any issues. Itâs a great size and is perfect to store blanks, shoes or even tv remotes because of the multiple layers.

We bought this coffee table for our first apartment and it is definitely a must have! Building it was very self explanatory, all you need is a Philips screw driver ( you can use a drill if needed ) the color is perfect, and plenty of storage inside the compartment. The only CON I have is that lifting up the table lifts up weird, itâs not a problem at all cause thatâs just how it lifts up. But other than that I would say this is a great table and worth the price.

Great Quality Table
The wood is nice, it looks premium in the home. Sturdy, but still easy to move. The rising tabletop mechanism works great and is solid to use as a desk from the couch, supports plenty of weight. The spring is loaded when the table is down and at rest when the table is up, so the tension of the spring is what supports the weight.It is a hassle to build(1-2 hours for me), they have some cool smart screws that only take one turn. But just when you think you’re finished, the final step involves 24 screws you have to manually turn all the way into hard wood.Worth it though!

Straightforward assembly. Feels sturdy enough. I like the rustic finish.
If you’ve ever assembled Chinese box furniture, this is very typical. Pay attention to the pics. There are little dots here and there on the drawings that represent screw holes. Keep these oriented correctly and it’ll go together with no problem. Like some reviews state, the top is a two handed affair to lift. No big deal. It closes nicely and looks like I wanted it to. A cordless drill with a #2 Phillips bit is a big help. Set the clutch of your driver light to medium. It is Chinese MDF after all. Snug up all screws by hand. Well worth the price, to my way of thinking.

It’s an ok table, it’s simple to put together but does take an hour or so. It definitely feels pretty solid and works as advertised. But I will say that it it just isnt worth the price. The material is pretty cheap and it’s incredibly small. The pictures don’t really show just how small it is. I’d have returned for the bigger one but it just isn’t worth paying the money for an upgrade. I also highly advise adding your own hardware to the struts. It takes six screws to lock them in place and it’s made out of particle board so it will wear out and become really loose after a bit of use.

Nice look, not too bad to assemble
I’m 71 years old and not as spry or bendable as once was. This table is sturdy, attractive and well designed. It looks and works just as depicted on Amazon. Packaging was strong enough to fight back from normal FedEx shipping processes. ‘A’ grade.I had 3 issues assembling – all age related. First was getting the 64 pound box into the house. Second was installing the last 2 legs. Either the directions are wrong OR I simply assembled them incorrectly. After a few minutes, decided to disassemble and swap parts between the 2 sides and issue resolved. Third was assembling the top to the spring brackets. Instructions say to install brackets to top first. But I had no help so opted to do the opposite. I got it. ‘A’ grade all the way!All holes for everything were perfectly aligned and of proper size. Used a handheld screwdriver and even at my age and arthritic hands, was able to screw them in comfortably. The person(s) that designed the assembly process should be rewarded quite honestly. Bags of hardware were mostly labeled and all wood pieces were labeled. Nicely done! ‘A’ grade.Instructions were just OK. Pages were not in order but may be because there are two versions so the bottom shelf can be at 2 different heights. I give these a ‘C’ grade.Hope this review helps some folks not used to assembling their furniture. Again, Kudos to people who design for do it yourselfers and to the manufacturing company that kept the tolerances to design!

Very good coffee table. This is just what I was looking for. The instructions to assemble the table are not quite clear, but there are not too many parts, therefore it is just intuitive to assemble. Once completed, the table is not too big, but this is exactly what I was looking for since it is replacing another table that it was just too big for my space. Table is sturdy, and it looks nice with the rustic style. No problem lifting and lowering the tabletop. Once the tabletop is up, it keeps there safely with no issues, and it is easier to lower down again. Convenient hidden storage compartment to keep your laptop for example, or whatever you need to store.
