Stranger Things, One Piece, and Squid Game: Check Out the Biggest News and Trailers From Netflix Tudum 2025

Netflix offered a first look at its upcoming movies and TV series at last night’s Tudum event in Los Angeles, including new seasons of Stranger Things, One Piece, and Squid Game.

Squid Game Season 3 is set to debut on Netflix on June 27. It will be the final season of the Korean series and see the return of main character Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae). Check out the trailer below.

Netflix also announced a three-stage release for Stranger Things Season 5, also pegged to be the series finale. Exact release times will depend on where you are in the world, but for viewers in the US, Volume 1 will debut on Nov. 26 at 5 p.m. PT, while Volume 2 will arrive on Christmas Day at 5 p.m. PT. The finale will go live on New Year’s Eve at 5 p.m. PT.

Netflix also showed fans a teaser trailer and complete cast list for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, the latest installment of the mystery thriller featuring James Bond actor Daniel Craig as protagonist Benoit Blanc.

The streaming giant also confirmed the release of Emily in Paris Season 5. Though nothing was mentioned about an official release date, it confirmed that production has started in Italy, and the newest season’s story will take viewers to both Italy and France. It also announced that season two of One Piece, its live action adaptation of the popular manga by Eiichiro Oda, will debut in 2026.

Outside of television, Netflix also confirmed several big-name feature films coming to the platform in 2025. Frankenstein, a film by Oscar-winning Pan’s Labyrinth and Pinocchio director Guillermo del Toro, will arrive on Netflix this November, featuring Saltburn actor Jacob Elordi and Ex Machina actor Oscar Isaac.

Meanwhile, Netflix announced Adam Sandler will return in Happy Gilmore 2, a sequel to the original 1996 comedy classic, arriving on July 25.

Netflix closed out Tudum with a Wednesday-inspired performance from Lady Gaga. That Addams Family series, starting Jenna Ortega, returns on Aug. 6 with part one of season two and part two on Sept. 3.
